"“DO NOT MOVE IN THESE APARTMENTS” THESE THE TYPE OF APARTMENT WORK HARD TO MAKE THE OUTSIDE LOOK GREAT BUT INSIDE IS HELL THE KEEP THE GRASS CUT BUT NOBODY DISHWASHER WORKS OR GARAGE DISPOSABLES WORK WHEN I STAND IN MY TUB IT CRACKS AND SOUND LIKE IM ABOUT TO FALL DOWN STAIRS BUT THEY DON’T WANT PEOPLE TO HAVE THINGS ON THE BALCONIES DON’T FALL FOR WHAT THEY LOOK LIKE IN THE OUTSIDE BECAUSE INSIDE IS A NIGHTMARE"
"I just moved in a one bedroom one bathroom, the unit is clean and nice. The whole complex is beautiful and well organized. I love the color scheme. Suleika helped me with the moving process. I highly recommend this place. I love it!"
"I lived at Sand Lake for a little over a year, my experience was far from “fair”. Upon moving in, I had my Wi-Fi router delivered to my front door. Maintenance picked it up and brought it to the leasing office without even telling me. The leasing staff refused to bring it back to my door because they are not allowed to leave the office due to “safety risk”. I’d imagine it has something to do with the homeless people who are constantly in and around the complex, many knocking on your door during late hours of the night. Constant police circling in and out of the community due to the high crime of the area. My car was broken into several times and the leasing office simply sends you to the police every time. The one good thing about the complex was only the cheap rent, however you get less than what you pay for here. ROACHES EVERYWHERE! No such thing as “pest control”, even though you pay monthly for it. Constantly loud music on the weekends, empty beer cans/boxes and cigarette butts litter the outside of the community. The leasing staff is constantly changing, you will see a new face every time you walk in. The assistant manager, Suleika Melendez, is beyond the most disrespectful and unprofessional employee I have met in the leasing office. Suleika Melendez attempted to charge month-to-month fees before my lease ever ended, ignore my emails, and laugh in my face when I approached in person. I had to show her in my lease where it states that my move out date was in fact over a month after she tried to say. When asked to escalate to upper management, I was told she didn’t have contact info for them. The leasing office is dishonest, the neighbors are loud and the maintenance staff is the only thing they have going for them. Do yourself a favor and live else where. Any positive reviews are fake and written by people who have not lived in the community as any neighbor I have met/spoke to has the same feelings about the leasing office/community. This place is a dump with a coat of paint on it."
"I work at night and didn’t get notified or anything that there would be construction on the apartment above us . I understand it’s getting renovated but nobody had the courtesy to give us a note or anything . It’s 8 in the morning and all I hear is banging above my apartment for hours . And all the leasing office has to say is that’s how it is. People are paying money you guys need to at least let people know . Super unprofessional leasing office people every time I go in there."
"Me and my family moved here a year ago, as they were going under new management. And we haven't had any complaints since then. The rent is pretty reasonable. The leasing staff are very nice and friendly. Sharon (previous assistant manager) was amazingly sweet. Shelby the new assistant manager is just as sweet and professional. Larisa the same. And Russel, our property manager is there when you need him and nice about it. Maintenance is fast, though we only needed them once. My kids love the park and pool. And we are looking to renew our lease because it's peaceful here. No drama or loudness. The only reason I am not giving them 5 stars is because there's no storage room(s) nor wash & dryer hookups. Other than that I would recommend!"
