"We really need to get the health department out here to inspect the property. I’ve never dealt with roaches until living here. They painted over the wasp nest. Guys careful & strategic of renting here. 2 month update: I guess the roaches are here to stay. I’ve never dealt with this before. So if you move in, you’re moving into the roaches home not the other way around. The office is aware and takes appropriate measures to take care of issues that arises. The pest issue though idk if it’s the company they work with the effects after spraying has no effect whatsoever."

"Moving from out of state can be very stressful but, the staff was so patient with me, accommodating and made the move a very simple process. What should have been the Toughest part of the move, finding a home 15 hours away and not being able to view it. The staff at Dawson sent me photos, dealt with me switching apartments as well as move in date all while being compassionate and patient. Working in property management myself I was very impressed with the leasing staff as well as the apartment itself. I highly recommend The Dawson apartments!"

"The worker of te Dawson apartments came to paint the roof of my apartment due to an aparent liking from the second floor. Unfortunately the worker did was not careful and ruin a painting of mine. This is te reason I’m why I am presenting a formal complaint about this."

"Would NOT recommend. Craig, the property manager was very nasty to me as a resident. Received a 7-day notice for having family over from out of town . Even though I had the opportunity to stay in my apartment , I decided to leave this community early based on how he treated the situation with unclear answers. Very unprofessional and told me I cannot have anyone over my house even if they were not staying 7 consistent days or 14 days total as the law states . Beware of this community. Update 11/28 So Craig emailed me and asked me to update my review without giving any apologies for their mistakes … I still give 1 STAR to this community. Since paying for the month of November, I decided I was going to leave on the 27th of the month(read review above). Well over the holidays , the Dawson decided to illegally change my locks to my doors(which was before my day to vacate) . Which is called an ILLEGAL EVICTION(Yes I asked my attorney) . They first denied what they did then finally admitted to doing it(I have video) and blamed maintenance. Then just changed the locks back yesterday 11/27. I’m upset that I received NOT ONE apology from the staff, maintenance nor Property manager Craig who I had been in contact with via email. Due to my living arrangements with family being changed , I decided to finish out my lease at the Dawson and not terminate my lease early. Without any apologies for the wrong doings, Craig has still been rude and short via email to me. Once my lease is up in June 2024 , I’m out . Once again be aware of this community!"

"Maintenance Team is great. Fix everything up right away. Leasing office ladies are great. No issues and have always assisted me in what I needed. Great place, peaceful for my children and I. I do wish there was a kids playground for all the kids but otherwise, we are happy here. Affordable for the area we live in and a lot of things close by."
