"The toilet in the bathroom appeared to be leaking in one place.. I mopped it up, and later it looked like it was leaking from the other side as well. I mopped this also and put the soaking wet bath ;mats in the washer. I put in a maintenance request in the morning and Ivan came very quickly. It had all dried up by then and no leaks were evident. Ivan suggested it might have been caused by the huge amount of rain we had the day before or something outside in the hall. So far it remains dry and I thank the maintenance crew for the effort."
"I lived here for 2 years. My experience with the Vinnings at hunters green was difficult from day 1. When we paid the deposit to hold the unit online and signed the initial agreement paperwork we were promised a fully upgraded unit with wood floors and a balcony. The lady named Rixie (who no longer is employed there) promised that would be the unit we would receive. In day of move in we found out we had all carpet, and the unit was the outdated version. They refused to adjust the monthly payment price to match what other renters would have paid for an out dated unit and only gave us a refund adjustment for the first month. We had no where else to go so we had to stay. The apartment had a lot of maintenance issues through out the 2 years (the employees were nice but only did the bare minimum of what they had to do). The office staff changed a lot. I was never late on rent and never had problems making payments. This company uses Dosumo to allow renters to send online payments, I’ve always used the feature which allowed for payments via bank account for free. Never had an issue until the last couple of months. The last 3 months of my stay I let them know I was leaving. The moment they found out we decided not to renew the lease, this company decided to turn off the option to allow me to pay via a bank account. This required me to pay almost a 60 dollar fee to make my monthly rent payments or I had to get money order (which was either inconvenient or costly). Thank god I bought a house because I would never rent with this property management company ever again."
"The place is dirty. Always trash up front and around the complex. There are raccoons living by the dumpster (because of the trash problem) that the office has done nothing about. Over half the time I called the office the phone was never answered. I got hit with a big move out utility fee because they run it three months behind and I was never informed that was how they ran it upon moving in. I also had to double check statements because I got double charged for trash one month. They also tried to put a $200 removal fee for a mattress and box spring removal that they didn't do. They do attempt to work with you about rent payments which is good, helpful, and appreciated. I never got a garage door opener in the 13 months I lived there, even though I asked about it weekly for the first 6 months. Then they tried to say I didn't turn it in with my keys. Maintenance requests weren't always completed and the HVAC fliters they supply don't fit the units. There is a big bug problem that started a little over half way through the lease and the bug people they have barely sprayed anything when I requested the pest control service I pay for monthly. The gate never worked in the 13 months I lived there. The fitness center and pool get closed at least once a month it seems lately."
"My experience living at Vinings has been amazing for me and my family. The community is full with great activities/ amenities & the staff in office are super professional, helpful and welcoming. I definitely recommend coming in for a tour of property if you have been looking for a new home and had Vinings on your list of place you might want to live."
