Legacy at The Standard

"This place has to take the cake for the WORST management team there is. My roommates and I were told on the day we submitted our forms for releasing that we would be getting a specific renewal rate. Once the forms were signed, two hours later they went back on it and raised the prices an extra $20 per month. They claim they can't go back and give a previous rate, but the regional director themselves was such a "generous" person and locked us in at this rate of an extra $20 instead of adding another extra $30 to the monthly rent for a late email response, but suddenly their hands are tied when they're asked to fulfill their guarantee of the previous tier one renewal rate. This is not the first issue that me and my roommates have had in this apartment, seeing as they took 4 days to fulfill multiple maintenance requests labeled "HIGH priority". They do business very shadily and have no problem going back on their word. Do yourself a favor and look for another location to stay in. Living here is not worth the hassle."

"I would give this place 0 or minus points. We signed up early because we wanted to secure parking in the garage. When my son moved in in august he did not get a parking pass. He is on the waitlist, #29 … mind you there are floors completely empty in the parking garage. When we filled out the application we checked we wanted parking. Apparently we needed to fill out another piece of paper which we did not know about. They should have provided it. So now, because of their mistake my son has to find his own parking. It is hard to talk to a manager. Nobody seems to care to resolve anything. Then, they lost package that got delivered to my son at The Legacy. They put in a room that everyone has access to so everyone can take it. The students at the front desk don‘t seem to care at all and are not helpful at all. My son stayed at The Hub last year and we did not have these problems I cannot recommend moving into The Öegacy"

"parked my car for one night over the summer in the parking garage (which was 2/3 empty), got a boot on my car because I have a transponder but no sticker. I try to call Legacy on the Friday afternoon around 4pm and they don't pick up. I end up paying $80 for Superior towing to unboot my car. By this time, the front office is closed so I can't get a sticker, so I place my $80 paid Superior Towing invoice on my window, showing I already paid. Less than 3 hours I come back to find my car is booted again. I speak to Legacy and they say to talk to Superior. I call Superior and they say talk to Legacy. Update: Legacy finally gives me a sticker. I ask them not to charge my account until the boot is removed. They promise I will not be charged. Later that day I come to find out Legacy charged my account $150 anyway. comically pathetic"

"I love them here! The properties are lovely and the staff is sweet and precise. I got helped by this young lady, Elizabeth I believe, who was just so sweet and inviting. She seemed like she knew exactly what she was talking about with the approach she gave. Extremely helpful!"
