"I can not say enough great things about this apartment complex. We found them online, and they lived up to everything I had expected. I moved long distance and it was a difficult move. They are always available to help and take care of issues faster than I can wink an eye. If I had not found this complex I made of not been able to move my small family here. The staff is knowledge in so many areas, including local events and surrounding places. The staff seems to take an interest in you and they do go out of their way to help with any relocation needs. In addition, they have frequent complex events to help people meet one another. The club house is inviting and a great place to take a break to watch a movie or do some studying. I love having a place to get away for a moment. This is indeed the quietest and most well managed larger building complex I have seen in my time. I do have experience renting in my past, so I know what types of rentals and management staff people may run into. This place does and will take care of you! I would of never imagined such a quiet peaceful spot near the bustling city surroundings. The scenic ponds and frequent wildlife they have is the perfect way to unwind and experience a bit of Florida's native birds. They also have quite a nice turtle population that is charming to observe. I would highly recommend this apartment complex if you want a clean, stylish, safe, and friendly new home."

"I place the call to put in a recorder because there was a brown substance licking inside of my washer the maintenance team came but then less than an hour of making the call they're very professional very personable as they always are and as it turned out my washer needed to be replaced. Long story short. Those guys are great and they get the job done."

"This is summary of my experience at Uptown. Moved in and the apartment wasn’ t cleaned or ready. There was a maintenance guy painting when I walked in. The apartment had been vacant for some time and they decided that morning of my move in to get it ready. There were blood stains on the damn wall still from previous tenet. It also had fruit flies. Took me over a week to get rid of them. Then, the carpet cleaner guy showed up and I couldn’t move my furniture in that day. Carpets were wet for at least 12 hours and there was still a big brown stain in the bedroom. Had to reschedule movers, which cost me a few, and had to cancel a second day of work. I did get compensation for the cleaning. A week after I moved in, I come home to an open door. That carpet cleaner guy was back and no one informed me they scheduled this cleaning. Broke my lease bc of it. Took two months to get my security deposit back. That’s unethical. Also, you can hear everything around you and hear your neighbors above walking/stomping around. I will say, the property manager did everything to rectify all the mistakes. He is very kind and made sure I was let out of the lease immediately. I will sing his praises on that. Look, renters aren’t asking for much. Just some decency and competency. I don’t think that’s too much to ask for when you’re spending close to $2000 in rent. Westshore, the property management company needs to do better. Make sure you have a lawyer if you decide to rent at Uptown."

"Have been looking for a place to live for the longest and came across this place. I was able to set up a tour for me and my boyfriend and we had such a pleasant time and loved everything that was presented to us. The person who was the most helpful for us was Aerille. She is very knowledgeable and was able to give me step by step on how to navigate their site and also on the application process as well. Overall great property!"

"We lived here for 15 months and it was a very unpleasant experience. Rude staff, mold all over, constant weed smell, car broken into, ac unit constantly breaking, walls are way too thin, non residents using amenities all the time, constant admin mishaps with our rent payments…. The list goes on and on. This is not a luxury apartment complex. I experienced in my stay here, multiple occasions where I felt unsafe and had to call the cops, physically sick due to smoke from other apartments, had appliances not working such as the AC and our apartment was 83 degrees hot, people who didn’t live there inappropriately approaching me and my guests at the pool, and so on. I reached out to staff during this time and was met with no help. I was told they wouldn’t put any security cameras out, to pour bleach down the drain to rid of any smoke smell, and more often than not, that there was nothing they can do to help. I genuinely wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone. There was black mold in the AC unit and I developed a weird lung condition. I wouldn’t have given them a bad review, had the staff been more kind and helpful. In the majority of the circumstances in our 15 month stay, when an issue arose and I had to go into the office to speak with someone about an issue, I was met with unkind attitudes and zero help to resolve the issue. Many of our friends have also left simply due to poor customer service as well."
