"This is a review that is long overdue. I have worked with Dawn and her team for several years now, for both real estate purchases and property management. Buying a house with Dawn was a great experience. She was very honest, responsive, and easy to work with. For the purposes of this review, however, I will focus on the property management aspect. We have all heard horror stories of property managers that take your pay and do nothing else. Nothing could be further from the truth with Back Stage Realty. This company is truly the real deal. Dawn and her team consistently exceed expectations to provide quality services at a reasonable price. No hidden fees, no surprises, just transparent top-notch service. From the perspective of a landlord, Dawn and Charlotte treat your property like it’s their own and provide truly professional, detail-oriented service that is tailored to your needs with quality tenant screening. They are responsive and strike a good balance with communication, bringing critical issues to your attention and addressing minor ones seamlessly, even if it requires a creative solution. Back Stage Realty also ACTUALLY walks through the house every six months to verify property condition and provides a report on repairs or upkeep you may need to perform. This ties in with suggestions on how to preserve and improve your home’s value, with an emphasis on preventative maintenance. As a tenant, you can expect Back Stage Realty to be honest and fair. They take a very common-sense and human approach to property management. Terms are spelled out clearly in lease agreements and the team is responsive to your requests. Dawn and her team work to educate and inform landlords of their responsibilities and courses of action to protect you from an overbearing or unreasonable landlord. In the event issues arise, they will work with both sides to try and reach a reasonable solution that works for everyone. Bottom line, I have no hesitation in recommending Back Stage Realty and often do. Dawn, Charlotte, and the rest of the team are the gold standard of premier property management. "I have been working with Dawn Johnson professionally for 17 years as a handyman. I can tell you in all those years she is the only company that I have come across that actually inspects their properties. I have always been given checklists for any repairs I have done by her personally or by her property managers. She treats her owners and tenants with the utmost professionalism. I have never been given a blank slate to go into a property to find repairs. Furthermore, I have to schedule with tenants with plenty of notice before gaining access to the property for repairs.
