"Nice hotel. About an hour drive into Key West. We just didn't want to pay the prices in Key West. Beds were comfortable everything was clean. Breakfast was good, very busy! They do have extra seating outside. Two out of the three days we ended up out there as there were no indoor seats. One complaint we had was that our refrigerator would turn off after every 2 hours. So at night when we'd get back to our room everything was warm. They do have 2 pools and a restaurant on site. We spent our days in Key West so didn't use any amenities. The hotel consists of two buildings. We stayed in the front one and had a parking lot view. The nice rooms on the water are in the back building."

"Enjoyed our stay. The room was nice and clean. Our check in was a little disturbing because our reservation wasn't sent in but that was not the thier fault, but the fault of my booking place. Beds were very comfortable. I didn't agree with an additional charge for parking when I already paid for a room."

"Stayed here for both biz and pleasure! Was DJ&MC for Amber and Shawn's wedding, and stayed on property. Cool, different type of wedding venue with a helpful, friendly staff in general and also Amy Anderson & catering staff. Also stayed here as a layover when doing events in Key West. Rooms are clean, modern, & quiet with nice amenities. Will continue to stay here on future visits or events in the area. Highly recommend!"

"We had a great stay at Fairfield in Marathon. We arrived early and the front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating - they let us hang out at the pool while our room was being cleaned and prepared. We stayed in a room in the back building with 2 queen beds and a pull out sofa which was fine for 5 adults. The room was very spacious and nice - bathroom was well supplied and water pressure was strong. Our room had a full sized fridge and freezer and kitchenette with an extra sink and mini fridge. We had a lovely balcony with a view of the pool and waterfront. The location is accessible to nearby restaurants (we enjoyed Island Fish Co for lunch and Sparky’s for dinner and drinks and live music). The complimentary breakfast was excellent with plenty of options and great coffee! We would absolutely stay here again and nearly added another night to our stay."

"I struggle to understand where the positive reviews about this place come from. Staff are friendly and helpful, but that's about it on the positive side. For the rest, we had an overall very poor experience. The structure is old and would need a thorough refurbishment. The corridor and the rooms stink. Carpet everywhere which hasn't been cleaned in the past two decades perhaps. Try walking barefoot in your room and your feet will be awfully dirty within minutes. All of this at a cost of 350 per night, totally overpriced for what you get, and by far the most expensive (and worst) hotel of our trip to Florida."
