Parmer's Resort 565 Barry Avenue, Little Torch Key, FL 33042

"Our room was two twin beds, it was small, the A/C was loud, a wall light randomly fell off, the power went out…. But the staff were very friendly, helpful, and quick to respond to inquiries, the complimentary breakfast was sufficient, and the location was perfect! It was close enough to easily drive to Key West or to explore the surrounding area and Keys. Most importantly, it was quiet! Would I stay here again? If I’m trying to save some money, Yes! For the price, I couldn’t have been happier."

"Loved the Old Florida style, but the rooms are a bit dated. Bed was comfy, towels were nice and the views are great. The staff is super nice, very accommodating and eager to offer a lot of information and suggestions on local sites, restaurants and resort info. If you want a fancy, perfect looking resort, this is not it. If you want a quaint, quiet and peaceful place, this is it. It does seem a bit pricey to me, but it is 2023, November in FL and in the Keys.....so it is probably not that bad. I would recommend if you are an old soul with an open mind and don't expect Ritz-Carlton perfection. I would stay here again"

"We stayed at Parmers over Thanksgiving and absolutely loved it. Everyone on staff is so kind and friendly. The cottages are very simple, but comfortable and clean. The highlight for me was being able to sit outside our cottage in the morning and watch the sunrise. It was an incredibly relaxing visit, and we are looking forward to visiting again soon. My only suggestion would be to hang a full length mirror in the room. The small one in the restroom just doesn’t cut it."

"Nice, peaceful property tucked back out of the way. The staff was friendly and helpful, and we were given a nice upgraded room after telling the desk person it was our honeymoon. Paddle boards and kayaks complimentary. Our only complaint was that we were on the first floor of a 4 unit building and could hear the people above walking around. Thankfully, they were fishermen and didn't stay up late. Decent continental breakfast with fresh fruit."

"I am so glad I stumbled upon this hidden gem! Absolutely lovely people working at this little resort, with fantastic customer service skills and a welcoming attitude. The main areas are all spotlessly clean and well-kept, with plenty to keep you busy if you’re not out exploring the Keys. Right on the water, you can swim or boat if the weather cooperates. While I didn’t use the pool, it looked nice and clean. The rooms were clean but a bit dated and could use some love. A lot of care went into what’s in the room for comfort, and I felt safe at all times (that is not always the case with smaller motels). They have lots of thoughtful touches like cookies and lemonade in the afternoon. I will definitely be back!"
