"I have to say, I will NOT rely on reviews anymore. Yes, the motel is older, but very quaint. Clean, and pretty quiet. The folks running this place are super nice and helpful!! We have certainly enjoyed our stay and will for sure be returning!!!"

"Not a bad place at all. We really enjoyed our stay here. Frank and his staff were really nice to us as vendors for the Fl Keys Celtic Festival. "This was the most unpleasant encounter I'd ever had. The room smells strongly of cigarettes. The bathroom pump turns on and off during the night. We got a rash from the bed. You should expect to get yelled at because the location's owner has a terrible response. We chose to celebrate our daughter's birthday in Playa Tortuga, and this was the only place that was available, which is, incidentally, the only reason we stayed here. I'm writing you this to prevent you from saying, "That was the only place I could afford," as I absolutely make more money than you do scamming people! Kindly stay away from this place!"

"DO NOT BOOK HERE! The greedy owner of the Siesta Motel is only interested in getting your money. I made a reservation for my college sons and their friends, who get together during Christmas break to go fishing. This year, I had to wait until we had confirmation from one of their friends who is in the military to ensure he had approved leave. Unfortunately, when I went to make the reservation, Siesta was the only one with reasonable rates. I reached out to change the reservation date when a storm threatened the Florida Keys and the entire peninsula this weekend. Yet he refused, despite explaining that, as a single parent, I could not afford to lose the money I paid. He prioritizes money over people; there is no flexibility, regardless of the situation. Hopefully, his friend gets to leave next Christmas, so I can make a reservation with an Air BNB."
