"I had the pleasure of staying at The Desoto Inn with my family from January 17th to January 23rd, 2024, and it was truly the best Airbnb experience we've had. Nestled right on the beach, this modern and beautifully appointed house exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted by a sense of warmth and comfort. The full kitchen was stocked with every accessory we could possibly need, making meal preparations a breeze. Our children were over the moon with excitement as they discovered bicycles with helmets and a lock, perfect for exploring the area at their leisure. We stayed in the two-bedroom house on the second floor, and the highlight was undoubtedly the amazing balcony overlooking the beach. Mornings were a delight as we sipped our coffee, taking in the breathtaking views. Beach towels, chairs, and even toys for the kids were thoughtfully provided, making our beach outings hassle-free and enjoyable. Veronica, our host, was exceptional. She went above and beyond to accommodate our every need, ensuring that our stay was nothing short of perfect. Stepping outside, we felt transported to an island paradise, surrounded by special palm trees and hammocks swaying gently in the breeze. Our time at The Desoto Inn was nothing short of magical, and we're already counting down the days until our next stay. Thank you, Desoto Inn, for creating unforgettable memories for my family. "Loved the spacious studio with kitchenette, to make breakfast and chill. Two houses down from the beach and the coastal greenway. Enjoyed every second of our stay. Lush tropical greenery was another plus. Plenty of hot water with ample water pressure, and a heater which was needed as it was a bit chilly. Only tiny consideration is that you can hear a bit of airplane traffic given proximity to the airport."

"There’s a lot to love here… The grounds at the Desoto are a joy to experience. Most locations along the beach are just a place to sleep, but not here. I looked forward to getting up early and checking out the sunrise on the beach that was a 30 second walk from my room. Then come back and enjoy a couple cups of coffee (provided) in the gardens. We had the a “studio” room that had a small kitchen. Nothing extraordinary about the room but it served it’s purpose. The beach is literally right around the corner from the property. The beach itself is very small and like a lot of the beaches in the area, covered in seaweed. There are some beautiful state parks right up the road (north) that have gorgeous beaches you can visit. Travel a coupe miles south of the property and you’ll find all the restaurants and crowds. The Desoto is perfectly placed outside of the insanity, but close enough if you want to join in."

"An absolute Jewel! We rented the big two bedroom unit upstairs. Made our trip utterly fantastic. The garden area is immaculate. Such attention to detail! We grilled dinner on the barbecue. There’s plenty of outdoor seating space both upstairs and downstairs. The two bedroom unit is large and modern with a big kitchen and two full bathrooms. Plenty of room for our family of five. This place is literally 67 steps to the beach (yes I counted). The neighborhood is quiet and far enough away from the boardwalk to be out of the hustle and bustle. But close enough for a quick drive or a longer stroll to the restaurants. I would recommend to anyone!"

"An unexpected poem. You arrive at your room through a wonderful garden, and everything is perfect and very quiet despite being in a major city. The room itself is spacious, casually elegant, practical and comfortable. And of course the beach and ocean are only steps away. We were there to take a plane to the Bahamas, and almost decided to cancel our flight!"
