"I have been in pain for YEARS. I'm still in my 20's and have dealt with jaw pain since childhood. For years, my jaw hurt and I was always told it's just because I grind my teeth and my alignment was off. I went through 5 and 1/2 years of braces, mouth guards, 3 root canals, and gingival flap surgery and still had pain in my mouth and jaw. I got to the point where I couldn't chew food at all and can barely open my mouth. It seemed like every doctor (dentist, endodontist, orthodontist, ect) were giving up on me. I was SO THANKFUL when Dr. Britto (my endodontist) referred me to Dr. Dennis at the Orofacial Pain Center. I had lost all hope and thought I'd be in pain forever and they would never figure out why. Not once did any doctor do any type of imaging until Dr. Dennis. I had a MRI specifically to look at the TMJ and FINALLY we got an answer. Dr. Dennis takes her time with every patient and explains everything very thoroughly. Although it wasn't good news, I finally felt like someone cared and wanted to walk with me through this tough journey of navigating TMJ pain. I need surgery and the ultimate goal is to save up enough money to get the procedure I need done but until then (and even after), Dr. Dennis is with you all the way. Mrs. Cindy is amazing as well! I have never met a doctor and staff that care as much as these ladies do. I have had multiple pain "crises" where I was in unimaginable agony and Dr. Dennis went out of her way to get me through it. She even met me on a weekend to numb my jaw so I could get through work that day. It is worth every penny to get an evaluation by Dr. Dennis if you have any type of TMJ pain. I was always told and believed my jaw pain was due to my migraines but now I believe its the other way around. I think my migraines are caused by my unstable jaw. No doctor ever even ordered tests to look at my jaw until I became a patient at this clinic. They go above and beyond to find answers for you, help you manage your pain with medications, therapy, and other things, and ultimately help give you a quality of life! I'm so very thankful to be a patient at this practice and I highly recommend Dr. Dennis to anyone suffering from pain like mine. I was amazed to discover that even my migraines, neck pain, and other problems were all related to a structural problem with my jaw. I finally have hope, and a team of people at the orofacial pain center that are by my side through this tough journey and help me in every way they can. Dr. Dennis is EXTREMELY knowledgable and she's also an amazing teacher. She gives you an understanding for what's going on with your body in detail and what options are out there. She takes her time to answer your questions, even if you have tons of questions. I feel cared about and I'm SO SO thankful to be a patient at this practice and be under the care of Dr. Dennis. I highly recommend contacting her office if you are suffering from any kind of orofacial pain. I cannot thank her enough for all she's done for me!"

"Dr Dennis has been a lifesaver for me managing my chronic pain. She is patient and understanding and non-judgemental. I am glad I found her. My only gripe is I wish she worked with insurance and was open more hours. Unfortunately its all out of pocket for me but she is one of a few pain management docs willing to use pain meds in treatment plans. She requires monthly visits to monitor your progress but it feels more conversational. Cindy and staff are great too. Always very nice and helpful.
