"Aspen Dental is not a good place to go to. They did X-rays and a dental probing test and determined I had a dead tooth that needed to be extracted, 3 cavities and told me I either can get a bridge or an implant. Didn't mention a root canal or any other method of saving this tooth. They showed me an estimate in the $12k-15k range. Their discount plans wouldn't even put a dent in what needs to be done. I was told the dental probing test shouldn't hurt and that the hygienist wasn't applying a bunch of pressure. The way she grabbed my jaw and used her tools to essentially get me to scream out in pain determined that was a lie. Plus they told me I had to wait 7-10 business days for my X-ray records when I called to request them. This place is an absolute joke. And the amount of negative reviews for the entire company as a whole makes me question how they are still in business."
"Waste of my time! All wanted was a cleaning and general check, the only thing I got were X-rays that took the tech an hour to get. She obviously did not know how to work the equipment. Doctor came in and told me I needed 2 crowns on teeth I just had fillings replaced (there is nothing wrong with them), I needed Invisalign for my bottom teeth because they don’t “align” properly…I have gone my whole life with slightly crowded bottom teeth with no problem whatsoever other then a little tartare build up (hence the cleaning) And then FINALLY to have my teeth cleaned that day (what I came in for) it would be $421 dollars! With my dental insurance! Just to put it in perspective I could literally fly home, have a thorough cleaning, fluoride treatment, and talk to the doc for $10! And the 10 bucks is because my dentist charged slightly more than what my insurance paid. $400 dollars??? shut up The office is dated with old equipment and unprofessionally dressed staff. For reference, I have worked in the medical field for 20 years. And the young lady giving me the “quotes” like I was at a car garage, you are rude. Pic of my bottom teeth that need “fixed”. Not perfect, but come on."
"Yesterday I had a 9:00 appointment. I wasn't called back til 9:30. That was the first time I was about to walk out. I was taken back and before they did anything I wanted to verify if they took my insurance. The financial girl told me they would give me a coupon for the first visit and she would look into it. So I did the exrays and the financial told me they didn't ALWAYS take my insurance. That it was pick and choose. I should have left. So we continued on with the appointment since I was already there. The hygienist came in and told me she was going to check my gums. So she proceeded to poke each area of my gum line with the dental hook. Then the dentist came in and I couldn't understand a word that she was speaking. That was point number 2. The final straw was when the financial lady took me to a smaller waiting room and I once again waited for another 10min. I was about to walk out when she came back to her desk and explain things in a way I could not understand. She gave me some financial papers that read like the divinci code. I then took them wished her a nice day and walked out. Crumbled up the paper and said I was never going back. Aspen Dental worst dental care office. Would never recommend to anyone. Aspen Dental needs to do every patient a favor and go out of business"
"They couldn’t clean our teeth. Didn’t call and my husband took antibiotics before the appt. Just kept apologizing. No hygienist today. Then, both of us were told we have periodontal disease and need a $1300 treatment. We go every 6 months and never any problems. Even called my dentist back home where we go every 6 months. No indications of that in our records. The x rays are free and the first visit. That’s probably how they pay for those."
"My experience with Aspen Dental was horrible. The staff was very kind. It does not change the fact I’ve been told so many different things every time I get there. No one is on the same page. Our needs are not the top priority. Nothing can get done in an efficient manner. They put my insurance in wrong twice, had me waste my time calling my insurance, was not billed correctly, appointments were not made correctly, no treatment plan, nothing that I’m being told was being done. You have to beg for information. Imagine sending your child for a procedure, and couple of days AFTER the child is telling you it wasn’t done! And you have to call the office and find out and they don’t even know! And that they didn’t do what they said they were! It’s horrible I will never send any family there again."
