"No complaints about the quality of service by the hygienist, the review is based only on the lack of accountability. I get cleaning at the office every 3-4 months (so does my whole family). Every time I come in, the previous hygienist no longer works there, or at least that's what I am being told (I am assuming a high turnover rate? red flag). I showed up for my 8 AM appointment to be told that I would not be getting the cleaning due to the "glitch" in the system (this is after I've been waiting there for maybe 10 minutes and I was told by another person that she will "let them know that I am there" and confirmed my appointment). I have not received any phone calls notifying me that my appointment is being canceled. Out of 4 people in the waiting room, only my appointment got canceled due to the "glitch". Furthermore, I am being told that another reason for my appointment being canceled is that I was scheduled with Brook (even though I was scheduled with Mistie, and my card said the same), and because Brook no longer works there, I can't get the cleaning. Their answer was just "Sorry, we can reschedule your appointment". Do I believe in the "glitch" or did they just overbook the appointments, and due to lack of staff they had to cancel? I don't know, and I am not curious to find out. I don't think these people understand that for working people it takes a lot of effort to accommodate our schedule around the appointment, to request a day off, find a babysitter, the time you waste to get there to be told to just go home and wait for the next available appointment. On a side note, when you get your appointment, make sure you ask about any "extras". My kids were scheduled for a cleaning, on the day of the service I was notified that they would be taking X-rays as well, and because I declined, they refused to perform the cleaning until I agreed to the X-rays. I have never experienced anything like that with my previous dentist. Simply astonishing customer service!"
