"So today I went in to get my son shots up-to-date on the shots that He ended to get for school First off the front desk lady was already coming out very rude and like she had an attitude and when we finally got to the back where we were talking to the doctor about what shots I wanted him to get him two new shots on that he doesn’t get Dr. fatme was very abrupt talking over me when I was trying to get information about the shots that he was trying to give him he was short talking fast so I wouldn’t comprehend and when I wanted him to repeat it seem like it was a problem and he was catching an attitude with me so my son ended up getting two shots that I didn’t approve for him to get they then call me and told me that I was getting dismissed from the practice which is fine because I was already after this whole debacle I was going to get him a new doctor anyways the only reason I went to him because I will used to go to him when I was a child but for young mothers that ask a lot of questions want to know everything very inclusive about the kids and information and stuff that they’re getting done to them I would not recommend him because all I wanted was information about the shots that you were giving my son He then told me technically your son got seven shots if you wanna count correctly so now my son has a mystery shot that I don’t know worth Just don’t go to him I will be contacting a lawyer"
"If I could give 0 star I would to this horrible place.Very rude staffs yelling at patients and no manner at all. The African American lady is so ghetto. I was not even loud and being mean she yelled at me for being late to appointment instead of nicely tell me to reschedule. I had to walk out crying, because I was so mad and shocked at how they treated me. I hope no one get treated like how they treated me. Better stay away from this place. Even the Hispanic physician lady was on her staff side and trying to cover up for her saying that’s how she talks. she wasn’t talking she was yelling. I can’t believe how she became a physician."
"I interned here and was moved by how much Dr. Fatmi and Jay care about their patients and how much thought they put into the care of each patient. They are determined to provide quality care for patients no matter their economic or social status and learning from them was an exceptional experience. They provide great care to the surrounding community."
"The absolute worst experience I’ve ever had with the doctor. Well at the Sarasota hospital (absolutely every one there was fantastic) delivering my son, the doctor came in to see him for The first two days. He may be spent a minute glancing in his ear checking his temperature asking me if he was OK. That’s not where I have the problem. A few months past and I have a small bill of $175 to cover. It took a few months to straighten out exactly what insurance he will have, and I was informed by everyone that that is fine. Eventually I received a bill from pediatrics of Sarasota. I called and I followed up as to why didn’t process the insurance. The man that answers the phone Mohamed always took down my medical information and messages at least on three occasions to process it. Each following time that I called to verify that everything was paid as I didn’t want a collection and to miss any bills, He would scramble take down my number and tell me someone would call back. This persisted for months. And what do you know I get placed on collection. When I called I speak with someone for billing, they tell me that they don’t Send bills to collection for at least nine months, my son is six months. Once again back-and-forth and no one calling back. I religiously called every single day, and got me with a plethora of excuses. Whether it was someone not being there because of a funeral apparently there’s only one person that knows what’s going on, then taking down my number wrong and couldn’t call me back, oh never following up. At this moment I’m frustrated and have never been treated so poorly. I got delayed on purchasing my house as my credit decreased because of a lousy $175 Collection, which I would’ve paid at any moment had someone actually called and told me that they can’t collect payment from my insurance. That being said absolutely everyone at that office has no idea what’s going on. The only person that was of any help with Destiny. Who actually called back to let me know if she’s working on figuring everything Everything else, the day after I called him to make the payment directly as I was told this was the only solution. Absolute worst service ever. If I knew I would’ve never allowed my son to be seen by the doctor if that is how he’s running his practice. Absolutely absurd to be having to deal with this with a newborn. UPDATE: It has been one month since I paid my invoice and received the receipt from the Pediatrician but the collection was NEVER REMOVED. Spoke to the collection company numerous times and it all comes down to the pediatrician "cancelling" the collection which still shows up on my credit as an unpaid collection that was cancelled. It was never updated to paid and removed which solved nothing. It has been week three now that I am trying to get in contact with Amina, apparently the absolute only person in the office that can do anything. I was rudely informed today by Kevin that "I don't know what to tell you other then try to call back another time as Amina is not here". Unreal. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRACTICE."
"I have been dealing with this office and a billing issue for months now. The office manager only seems to be in a half an hour a day with no set schedule. They sent a PAID bill to collections and now I can't even get a response in a decent amount of time on how they plan on rectifying their billing issue. I have records of the receipt for payment sent from their office and a credit card statement with no response from an unresponsive office manager. She won't answer the phone herself and no one seems to know when she will be in to assist with this issue. There will be legal proceedings if this affects my credit for deformation of character. I sure hope someone who is above the office manager reads this because my next call is to the better business bureau."
