"Mediocre at best. By the reviews and the photos, i thought i had finally found good pizza in Tampa. But unfortunately, i was wrong. I had high hopes from reading other people's reviews.We got a large cheese. A large pepperoni and 6 garlic knots. The pizza was as bland as could be. The garlic knots were basically uncooked dough in the middle, and i asked for them to be extra wet, and i got extra dry. Unimpressed to say the least. For the price point, i could have gotten something much better, thats what i get for taking a chance. Disappointed."

"We visited Home Slice Pizza Co for the 1st time today and were pleasantly surprised to find authentic NY PIZZA, just like we experienced in NYC! The Pizza was the real McCoy!! A true thin crust, large pizza pie, you can fold over to eat, generously topped with mozzarella cheese, NY thin Sausage slices and loaded with Pepperoni! The taste was spot on!!! The garden salad was fresh, delicious and large enough for 2 to share! They had Juniors Cheesecake, an added bonus, and was as good as we remembered in NYC!!!! The service was excellent (Thank you Austin!) and Gilbert, who knows New York Pizza, made it PERFECT!!!! The restaurant seating was comfortable and the restaurant (and restrooms!) were very clean! Plenty of parking! We will be back!!!!"

"Best pizza in Tampa Bay, hands down!! Absolutely addictive NY slices of deliciousness. Don't forget to order extra sauce on the side, so good it's drinkable. Home Slice apparently uses quality ingredients and it shows. And their team is the best. A warm welcome when you arrive and they make you feel right at home. Gil, the pizzaiolo, is a master of his craft. If you haven't been here yet, you must order a pie now! You will have found your new go to pizza joint :)."

"Best New York style pizza in town, by far. Firm but tender crusts, cooked just right, with fantastic sauce and just the right amount and kind of cheese. Make sure to get the garlic butter on the crust. P.S. these guys are all so super friendly when you walk in!"
