"I spoke with the receptionist about the Saturday hours listed in Google. I see another reviewer mentioned this also. Carrillon still hasn't fixed this. It wastes people's time! I drove over from the opposite side of the county to pic up my rugs last Saturday. Closed. The service for the rugs is excellent, not so much responsive to Google reviews and wasting customer's time."

"Toby is absolutely incredible! I have been out of the country in hospital in Stockholm for about 2 1/2 years. During that time, he cleaned, refringed, mothproofed & repair my Aubusson rug & 4 other Persian & Chinese rugs. The repair on my Aubusson is so well done no one can tell it was even damaged! In fact, when I recently came back to the States, I had to flip the rug from side to side to see where the repair was. Toby is extremely knowledgeable, honest & forthright in business. He is also a delight to speak with regarding rugs, antiques, fine & decorative arts. His knowledge seems to be very rare in this country unless one goes to the major auction houses in New York City. I only wish a Carillion Rugs was in London. My twin brother, Patrick & I still have the family house on Eaton Square. It has 6 floors of rugs that desparately need the attention Carillion would be able to give them. Granted, there are good rug people in London, but none of them give the service Toby & his staff provide. He & his staff treat everyone like they lived at Buckingham Palace. If it wasn't so costly, I would close the London House, have the rugs shipped here by container to be cleaned & moth proofed by Carillion. Then, have them replaced back in the London House. Once finished I would have the rugs in the country house containered & shipped here to be taken care of by Carillion. (These rugs probably haven't been thoroughly cleaned, as Carillion does to the rugs they handle, since before Queen Victoria died! Beating rugs over an extremely sturdy draped rope in the lower garden area just doesn't have the same effect! I am not kidding!) Carillion's pickup & delivery staff are very well mannered. They are all quite conscience of every movement and step they make with very large, heavy rugs. What really impressed me is the pickup staff gentle places the rugs in the lorry. They don't just throw the rugs in like sacks of rubbish! Obviously, after reading my review one can tell I was most impressed with Carillion Rugs, Toby, their pickup/ delivery staff & Carillion's attention to details of cleaning & details of repairing rugs. This was my first experience with Carillion Rugs. I have tried other companies in the past and there is no comparison. I only wish they could just clean & repair the 65'x30' Tabriz my two times Great Grandfather had made while he was in Tabriz. It is located in the main hall of the country house. The colours, I am positive would be outstanding as they were when the rug was first made! My sincerest thanks and best wishes to Toby, the pickup/delivery staff and all of the rest of the personnel at Carillion Rugs on doing an incredible job I found to be way beyond "well done!"
