"Beware of Diane!!!!! Terrible customer service!!!! I would not recommend this company to anyone due to her unprofessionalism. Made it clear we needed a 36 inch cabinet, ended up with a 30 inch. She basically called my husband a liar. We are out $640.00!!!! Called to discuss the situation with the owner, never received a call back. The craftsmanship is good, just so sad their customer service is so bad."
"Where do I start!? We reached out to Linda to inquire about getting cabinetry work done. Instead of her reaching out to us we constantly had to call only for her to ignore us for weeks. When I called aristokraft to complain about woodsman being unresponsive aristokraft assured me that they would get someone to call me. So finally Linda called after aristokraft had to basically force her hand. She then said that she had to come to our home to measure the space for our cabinets which was unnecessary seeing that they already had our measurements on record as they were the ones who installed our cabinets (poorly I might add) when we got our home built. After she measured the space she told me that she’d get back to us the next day and we never heard from her since. That was over a month ago. We ended up going with another company that was THOUSANDS of dollars less for the same product but it was a waste of a month and it pushed our project out. We were treated very poorly without a bit of an apology from Linda for her lack of responsiveness! She complained that she is too old for this job and that she should retire. I couldn’t agree more. I tried calling her boss…. Left him a message and never heard back. I see why they have a lower rating. Communication and follow through is important. BUYER BEWARE! Research other companies! Also I WILL be launching a complaint to my builder, aristokraft, and whoever else to warn them of this treatment."
"I did not have a good experience with Woodsman. I had some cabinet and countertop needs for my business and ended up spending $35,300 on a project with Woodsman. From the beginning it was difficult to get in touch with the designer I was assigned from Woodsman - so much to the fact that sometimes I would just have to drive to Woodsman and wait to get their attention. That lack of communication continued on throughout the entire project. When my cabinets were getting installed - it was discovered that the designer measured something incorrectly and. that an electrical outlet was directly behind something it shouldn't have been. Without going into to many details - instead of handling the outlet correctly the installers pulled it out and to the side and continued to install their brace leaving wires exposed, out of code, and was enough to make the fire Marshall shudder when he visited. There were other instances where the installers made mistakes along the way and attempted to hide them. When the cabinet installers left nothing was adjusted, the sawdust wasn't cleaned, and my cabinets had damage on it seemed like every third cabinet. QC came out - I showed them and they promised to fix it. They completely ignored the issue about the electrical and how Woodsman moved it creating a fire hazard. Still haven't heard back about that. Then came the countertops two weeks later. I had 10 countertops and 8 sinks installed. The installers had to mutilate my cabinet support system because of design failure - my cabinets were a bit shorter and the sinks used (bar sink) were orientated wrong. Instead of trying to fix it they heavily cut into the cabinet bases support brackets. When they left they left I took a look at their work - They left a significant amount of dust in the cabinets (that we had previously cleaned out because the cabinet installers did not clean it), they left the remains of the supports they cut out all over my floors, and up attempting to fit a faucet I realized that only half of the sinks would accommodate a faucet because of the orientation of the sink. I'd also like to note that every single countertop was left with an amazing amount of dust on it. $35k doesn't even get you a wipe down after install. The countertop installers came back out along with a manager from Woodsman - and they made the faucet holes bigger to accommodate the faucets. It works - but I can't turn my faucets full hot because they hit a stop. The installers said they knew there would be a problem when they initially left but didn't say anything to me until their return. The manager with Woodsman said it was a designer failure regarding the sink orientation. Instead of making it right I now how sinks that are orientated incorrectly, cabinets that are mutilated, faucets that won't fully function due to design failure, electrical issues caused by Woodsman, a significant cabinets and doors that won't align, countertop corners that aren't polished correctly, and I have no idea how any of it's going to be resolved because no one communicates with me. Perhaps Woodsman is great at doing business with builders, but I cannot see how my experience can translate to a good experience with end users."
"I remodeled my kitchen with cabinets, island, and quartz countertops from Woodsman. Being a small kitchen I was not expecting a seam in the countertop and they never asked me or consulted me about it. I was shocked at the poor result. They tried to fix it by replacing it with a remnant and cleaning up the seam with the proper color glue (dog-leg seam?). I was so disappointed I requested a new countertop with no seam and was charged an additional $2,800 for a slab of quartz. The installer said my kitchen could have been done with one slab and no seams but they installed without asking me for any input. Having to pay an additional $2,800 ruined my experience with them. They make you pay 100% before delivery so the customer has little leverage if something goes wrong."
