"Sadly, this store is no longer giving military discounts. It seems to be seasonal now. Also, the selections are very limited. I’m not impressed at all. The staffs also seem bored, lacking motivation and not willing to help. It was awkward when I asked 3 different staffs to help me with a bicycle and they just stood there, taking their time to assist while deciding who was going to help. That night, I spent $500 and I was not a happy costumer. Academy Sports + Outdoors can do better than that. Maybe raise the staff’s salary, so they don’t look so moody at the work environment. Costumers are taking notice."

"First experience at this location. It didn’t seem to be as put together as the location of Atlantic Blvd. The customer service person was rude when I asked a question about my online order to verify if it was ready or not. The response I received was like I was putting them out of their way. Without looking into it I was told to wait for the email to process. I explained I’m here in the store I ordered over two hours prior to entering the store, Here’s my proof of purchase you have six in your aisle the app stated one remained. I was told I needed to wait! by the time I made it home. I received the email so I could click a button that stated I was on my way. Arrived Waited 25 minutes for their pick up Service, who is clueless on how to fit what I ordered in the trunk. (the purchase was a tote that collapses and fits in your trunk). Takes 2 people to bring out what was ordered, They left me to figure it out as they walked inside. It just needed to be unboxed. Once I unboxed the product I purchased both the product and the folded box collapsed, fit perfectly in the trunk with no issue. Six hours and gas wrapped up with a simple online order and having to go back-and-forth I didn’t find very acceptable. As far as the product I’m very satisfied with the product I purchased"

"The products are the star of this establishment. The service is absolutely atrocious. I love being eyeball boinked upon entry and then followed around like a common criminal. Sarcasm is strong here. That aside, they do have great shoes and sports apparel."

"This store is laid out well and the associates were very nice. Not a lot of shoppers, but plenty of associates if you had any questions. Firearms were scarce but there were some availability. Ammo even more scarce. Background checks come back in a flash and done within 30 minutes. 5 days wait on handguns."
