"Mr and Mrs Bennett r the nicest people you meet Mr Bennett is very knowledgeable you can pick that man's brains for hours and he would try to figure out how to help you either way you can plus they offer a really good financing right now with their lawn mowers whenever my customers need a mower I recommend him all the time they have a great selection of lawn mowers and their son Gary it's one of the mechanics that works in the back and they do a good job too A lot of times they're over booked and they'll send extra work to me or if I'm overbooked and they're not I'll send extra work to them they are respectful and courteous with a serious customer friendly attitude"
"I've been doing business with the Bennett's for over 36 years and have always found what I needed and had my Bobcat mower serviced there every year since I purchased it from them. They treat me like family. Just talk to them nicely, they wont bite you !"
"I wouldn't even be giving a star but I'll give it something because the older gentleman that was in the store on November 2nd around 9:30 a.m. was very pleasant nice offered me help at the time didn't need it now the elderly lady that was at the register was not so pleasant she did greet me when I came in and also at some point ask me if I needed help I didn't need it at the time I told her like I told the gentleman this is my first time in the store I was wanting to look around at the merchandise I was just browsing if I needed help I would ask it wasn't much longer the lady came back to me and asked me to leave the store she said the store was for shopping customers and I said yes ma'am I understand that that's what I'm doing I'm browsing through the store to find something and I was actually looking for a circular saw blade for metal so I told her I've never been here before and I would really like to look around I didn't know what all they carried I wanted to check the store out there was a clamp I wanted to buy but no price on and it I was going to enquire about it once I was done looking but instead she told me that I had to leave I said okay yes ma'am no problem so if you don't buy anything immediately from that store you will be asked to leave I have never in my 36 years been treated that way so I would rather spend the extra money across the street than go back into True Value of High Springs FL. I could understand if I went into the store looking unclean, hair a mess clothing to tight or falling off but I didn't look nothing like that I had my hair up in a pony tail with an American fighter shirt with a pair of black jogger pants. I'm just appalled at this elderly woman's actions and how she made me feel never in my life have I've ever felt like that shopping anywhere I will pray for her. I'm just flabbergasted I don't understand where it came from why she behaved the way she did I was very respectful it was yes ma'am no ma'am wasn't rude in any way I wasn't raised that way first of all it's always yes ma'am no ma'am so DO NOT go to True Value in High Springs Florida you'll be asked to leave if you don't buy something immediaterly or if they don't know you personally. It's very heartbreaking seeing people behave in that manner."
"Avoid repair shop. Owner told me that in 35 years I was the first person to complain! The reviews say otherwise. Called after 3 weeks, they lost my slip, not sure which mower was mine. Estimated $45 repair cost $175 on a cheap mower. Lesson learned."
"If you need to buy a tool or something small great little place. Unfortunately the repair shop is beyond horrible. They lost a weed eater I needed repaired, about a year ago. I wrote it off due to it not costing me to much. I recently dropped a mower off with them almost a months ago. I was originally told it would take 1 1/2 weeks. My wife called at the 1 1/2 week mark, and was told only three people ahead of us. Fast forward another 10 days, i was told five people ahead of me. About a month later mower never got fixed. Needless to say the repair department is horrible. You can tell the moment you walk in, it is disorganized, archaic system, and need of a manager. If you need something repaired go to Jack’s small repair. I am all about giving my money to a small town business. Unfortunately I will never go back."
