"I rate this at five because this store makes me think of places in my house to put things when I find them but don’t need them. There are so many things in the store I would want to buy I just don’t have the space. Whoever works there if he is the owner or just a sales person is very laid-back and there’s no pressure. Nobody stares at you while you walk around the store. Definitely worth a visit .. amazing prices too… Fair amounts for everything nothing is overpriced"

"I'm giving 5 stars because I had an amazing experience here. This will be a long review so skip to the end for tl;dr. I wandered into Georgie's on a whim as I had just moved to the area and I was looking for vintage or mid-century style chairs to suit my aesthetic. I couldn't believe my luck when I stumbled upon these lovely wood dining chairs with vinyl seats. I didn't get my hopes up when I asked for the price because I had been to a couple of other vintage stores on Dixie and found chairs of inferior quality that were upwards of $200/chair. When he told me the final price, I thought he was quoting me the price per chair, not for the whole set! I'm very grateful to George/Georgie for helping a young, first time renter furnish her home with good quality items. Thank you! The items: Super interesting and eclectic collection of items from mid-century modern to Queen Anne, all competitively priced. If you're looking for unique pieces such as chests, (GORGEOUS) cabinets, dressing tables or nested side/coffee tables then you're sure to find something here. George clearly has great taste. The owner: George was incredibly helpful, honest and kind and I could tell straight away that he's not just out to make money, he actually cares that people are happy with their purchase. He patiently answered my questions and gave me all the time I needed to explore and evaluate the items and he even gave me tips on how to test the quality of chairs and how to clean them. I really appreciate a consignment store that doesn't jack up the prices like some of the other vintage stores on Dixie. It's always been confusing to me to walk into a consignment store and find prices are higher than many new items by large chains. I also worry when I go shopping because people tend to notice my naivety and try to rip me off. George was the exact opposite. He noticed my inexperience in shopping for furniture and took the opportunity to teach me something instead. He gave me an excellent price for the items and I left happy. I will definitely be returning every now and then as I slowly furnish my apartment. I'd highly recommend this shop."

"I usually do not give negative reviews online, but I've encountered such poor customer service here that I feel compelled to share. I've visited this place on more than one occasion to see a particular item they have advertised, and on every occasion, the item has not been there, even when I called to confirm. I think that they post items to bait you in with the hope that you'll look around at other items. The owner and employees were also very rude and dismissive when asked about where specific items were, or how they were mysteriously "sold" only moments before my arrival to see them. Very shady business practices."

"This place is big, organized, and full of great furniture. They also have some great oddities. They have many pieces of great art work. They have drugs, stuffed fish, musical instruments, and all kinds of other things that may be of interest to the right person. Well worth the time it takes to browse through this great consignment shop."
