"Calling every 3min for over an hour to always for an specialist to never respond. Going to different pharmacy in the future."
"As many of you have known there's been a shortage of pain medication and other opioids in the last few months. I usually use Walgreens as my pharmacy and often times use Publix for certain other prescriptions because they have a better price. However for the last month Walgreens has been having difficulty getting any type of pain medication, so I contacted Publix to see if they could fulfill my prescription. What the pharmacist assistant said to me was so disgusting that I had to make note of it on this review. I called the Publix pharmacy on Collier parkway in land o' lakes and spoke with one of the assistants and asked her if they had this specific pain medication in stock. When I asked her if it was possible to have my pain medication prescription switched to them, she said for any of your other prescriptions yes, but not for that pain medication. We have to make sure that we can take care of our regular Publix pharmacy clients first, before we can take care of anyone else. And I said so even though I am a Publix pharmacy client and you do fulfill several of my prescriptions, just because I don't have you filling my pain medication, you refusing to accept the prescription from my doctor because you want to take care of your publix clients first? And she said yes. I said so even though you have pain medication available, and you don't know if all of your Publix clients are going to use the pain medication you have available, you refusing to provide me with pain medication simply because I don't get it from you on a regular basis? At this point she simply said I'm sorry I wish I could do more to help you. And I said well I guess it's Publix policy to allow anyone who's not their regular clients to suffer needlessly, because you have the pain medication, and you're refusing to fill my prescription. What a horrible company it is, that has the medication available that I need, but would rather hoard it and hold on to it to take care of their regular customers then to allow anyone else to get benefit from it."
"I was having trouble getting my prescription. I Came back a few days later it still was having issues having issues. Marquise took excellent care of me and helps me with everything got my prescription in 5 minutes when it wasn't even at that store not store and help me check out all my groceries. He was so amazingly kind the whole time and even to the other customers."
"Looking for a good Land O Lakes Pharmacy? Keep looking. This place gave my wife medicine that almost killer her; Pharmacist not checking drug interactions. When called on it the response today was "but you didn't die, right"? Nice. Laughed on the phone over and over as if our situation was a joke. They are always "so busy" and make many little mistakes and when called on that "we are busy". I don't know about you, when I make little mistakes all day at work, that's called "getting fired". But drive thru employees have time to enjoy Starbucks drinks and laugh with each other; but no time to check faxes accurately. We are moving all our medicines out of this Pharmacy within 24 hours. Which represents thousands a year. That happens enough, someone will finally notice and wipe the smirks off of these Pharmacists faces and teach them empathy and compassion. If you value your health and life; and the lives of your family members; I would stay very far away from this Pharmacy. Be well."
