"Just called for a quote for transmission flush on a 2003 chevy s-10 with 73000 miles , he stated that its impossible for the mileage and he doesn't do that there and hung up !!! Sir company name is highlands transmission, and you don't flush transmissions , sign should read , highlands transmission of new cars , mind you no issues with transmission, operation is perfect , just a man wanting to maintain his ride"

"Spoke to someone on the phone yesterday about my transmission. I wanted to get a flush done. I told them I knew the consequences and that it may not fix my issue. They were super rude to me on the phone and refused to even do it for me. I ended up taking it somewhere else and luck was on my side because IT FIXED MY PROBLEM. I will definitely NOT be calling highlands transmission for anything. They were very disrespectful towards me. Probably because I'm a woman"
"This is very clearly a clip joint. Brought a 2005 honda civic there which was having transmission issues. They diagnosed it as needing to be rebuilt. Ok, fair enough. Decided to put a used transmission in the car, plenty of JDM stuff available. They quoted $1800, $1700 and then $2100 to install a used transmission. Just labor. Called a reputable local competitor... $700 for R&R. Told them, thanks but no thanks. Went to pick up the car with my car trailer and they kept pestering my wife to sell them the car instead of taking it home. Did some research, a transmission rebuild kit runs about $225 retail. They are soaking the consumer whenever they get a chance. This is a business to avoid at all costs. You are just a dollar sign to them, nothing more."
