InTown Suites Extended Stay Fort Myers FL

"Either the reviews from two months ago are fake or the management of the hotel just gave up, because those reviews are far opposite from my experience. I came here for just one weekend and there were baby roaches crawling around the first night. They bothered me but I was able to withstand them bc it was just a couple. But then the second night, we walked in and there were a lot more roaches of different sizes crawling around. I was so disgusted. There’s never any management on site while I’m there after 7pm so I called the “after hours service” and all she said was she could put in a request for someone to come the next day and I was upset bc I needed a new room. Very unprofessional and lack of care for my comfort in THEIR hotel. She just expected me to sleep with the roaches and bring the roaches home with me. There was even a roach catcher in the cabinet under the sink filled with roaches. I didn’t see it before bc I avoided using anything in the room beside the bed, table, couch, and toilet bc everything else was either unkept or broken. I couldn’t even sleep my last night there bc there were roaches crawling on the table and everywhere too close for comfort. I also seen a review that said laundry room is “so clean”…far from correct bc the laundry room is what I’d describe as trashy..like it looks like it’s suppose to be outside. Definitely wouldn’t want to wash my clothes in there. Nonetheless, MOST DEF NOT worth the $70!!! Don’t stay here! I wanna see the manager reply to this."

"Stayed here for about 6 months after the hurricane. Room was always clean, parking lot was well lit and felt safe, with staff making rounds inside and outside all night. Housekeeper was always very nice. Jasmine, the manager, and her staff always said hi and remembered my name. Robert was quick to fix things or change a light bulb. Very good location close to the beaches, food, and shopping. Great value for a budget traveler, or workers from out of town, One bad side, no pool,"

"My friend and I are staying here for a month. I found a very fair rate on their website. The staff are here is wonderful. They are kind, friendly and very helpful. They walk the property often, making the extra security appreciated. Everything you may need is located within minutes. We had a leaking sink and they not only sent maintenance out but a plumber as well and it was taken care of extremely promptly. I love the layout of the room. It's nicely decorated. I like the unique art in the room. The room I have has not lost a musky smell after days of being here but I believe it's exclusive to this room and is being handled. Otherwise it's a very good room. Very comfortable. We really like it here. A great place to stay. Definitely worth checking out."

"I have been here for a month, and can't say enough great things about it. The staff is amazing, with Tony leading the way, and is always on top of everything. Anything you need, someone will find a way to get it for you. Fred has been outstanding making sure the few issues I had were taken care of quickly. When the microwave died, it was replaced within 30 mins. I am in a newly renovated room, and it's wonderful, just like a studio apartment. The kitchen is small, but it's really got everything you need especially for 1 or 2 people. I'm glad I had my own plates and cookware as No they don't have that stuff in the kitchen. And since this is basically a studio apartment, of course you have to bring your own stuff. I wish they had places to sit outside, to enjoy the cooler mornings and nights we are starting to have, then maybe the folks that indulge in 420 could limit where they smoke, and you wouldn't have to smell it all day every where ! The one suggestion I have is to pressure wash your walkways !!!!! That is the main source of the bad smell outside. It's imbedded in the concrete. I guarantee you would notice a huge difference in the way things smelled especially by the stairs and elevators, this is a nice clean, safe place to call home if you need too, and pressure washing the common walkways would only add to all the renovations already done inside the rooms, and get rid of the smells outside, as it hits you instantly when you go to your room, or walk out your door. And it would make the outside look as nice as the newly renovated room inside Just a suggestion, but honestly it would make a huge difference !"
