"Please get all of your pharmacists and techs on the same page when it comes to procedure and insurance!!!! My doctor calls in my prescriptions...no one at your pharmacy lets me know that my prescriptions are ready. Last week, I go in and they tell me they will accept my new insurance when it becomes effective after Feb. 1st and that they will hold onto my prescription for 90 days and to come back when it's convenient for me. This week, they tell me my prescription was already deleted and now they don't take my new insurance and that I have to go to CVS. Do you not ask the doctor for basic patient contact and insurance information when they call a prescription in??? Understand that you are dealing with ill and/or disabled people who can't always travel independently. We are already frustrated by our conditions and don't need the added frustration of inefficiency and ineptitude. Lastly, it is of no help or comfort to me or anyone else to say that Manatee County Walgreens accepts my insurance when I am standing at your pharmacy in south Sarasota county."
