"Great staff I love me some Jay he is a wonderful hard worker ❤️"
"I'm there every day I need something love it"
"Marie at the front desk this evening made me aware that the store can price things one way and charge whatever they wish at check out. The item rang up at over $9. and she refused to honor the price that is marked clearly on this display. I know it’s a small item, but I think the attorney general needs to be aware of these practices. Maybe next time I will just steal the item like everybody else does."
"Sad a store that rips people off idk if it's just the area or the people or the company. They sale expired food and drinks at regular price! They dont care if you didn't notice and you can't return anything even with a Receipt! Dont bother calling the store they dont answer. It's a waste of time and money to shop there even if you're in a rush go to the gas station it's way better then this place. That star is only for the staff of the night of 12/23/22 they was very kind and only following orders even the Security was helpful and nice. Thanks for a horrible experience for the Holidays taking advantage of people sick."
"I came here for a can of mosquito repellent. I made the purchase, but it took every ounce of settling to do so. I was asked to leave my backpack at the front of the store. There are other stores in this region that have this same "store policy" I can never find anywhere on Family Dollar's website; Dollar Tree is in the same boat. It is a discriminatory policy on two counts. Primarily, the people that wear backpacks and shop here are black males and those, regardless of race, perceived as low income and or homeless. Women are not asked to leave purses that equal the size of my backpack at the front of the store. This was experienced in another store on Forest Hill and Congress, Palm Springs some time ago. Why sell to the very people being discriminated against? I have went to numerous stores, specifically, the one at LW Road and Military. During my first visit I was not asked. Every visit afterwards I was asked to leave my bag at the front of the store to shop. Same as at the Palm Springs store. What happened? This seems like defamation and libel coupled with discrimination and profiling. At this store today, I asked the employee if I could perform an example that would display just how useless this policy is and to send it to corporate. They declined, well were quiet. Shoplifting: Which motion is easier to make in an attempt to shoplift? The motion with male or female bags that resemble purses or with a backpack? Removing a backpack is a significant motion that is easy to recognize as an attempt to steal. What makes it even worse is that at numerous stores I have called a shoulder bag a purse, murse and a myriad of things that implies metro or homosexual nature and was allowed to keep the bag on and shop. Mass acts of violence: Check US history about how many active shooters and bombers actually carried any type of bag with them? I do feel there is more to these happenings that involve police surveillance, profiling, defamation, discrimination, and libel. Store policy is always the reason but I have repeatedly checked their website and found nothing."
