"I guess let me start by saying DONT DO IT! I found this place on Groupon and called to see if they did updos. The lady on the phone ensured me they had a lady that was great at updos and would book me an appointment with out a groupon code for a cut and an updo for $30. Sounded good to me so I made the appointment for the day of a friend's wedding that I was traveling to Pensacola from Texas for. My appointment was at 8am which I promptly arrived for. I told the stylist I just wanted a trim and for my updo, a little volume on top pulled back into some sort of bun or something. I thought this would give her plenty of room to be creative. Boy was I wrong. I sat there for 2 and a half hours while she put different products in my hair and tried different methods of curling my hair with no success. Now my hair is not anything out of the normal I have a long shoulder length Bob with thick totally curlable hair. Half way through this appointment the other stylist shows up with her young son who does what any other kid would do bored in a salon, turns on cartoons, asks his mom a million questions, eats his breakfast, spills candy all over the place all the while him Mom is doing her hair and makeup for the day telling me a story of how she paid for an up do once and had to redo it again after she left. Not funny. So after 2.5 hours I look in the mirror and see my "volume" on top was totally uneven along with an uneven "ponytail" and looked greasy and like complete crap. In couldn't believe I sat there that long and that's what I ended with. I was immediately frustrated at this point and honestly began to cry because I was so upset that I had wasted time like that on my friends wedding day that I had strategically planned for. She said she could try and fix it I said no I would be having to go somewhere else to have them fix it. She said she wouldnt charge me DAMN RIGHT and walked me to the door and apologized saying the little boy running around threw her off. I left freaking out because I had a makeup appointment in 30 minutes! I rushed to the mall and walked in to Regis where I was immediately and SUCCESSFULLY taken care of. The stylist there said she had no idea what the other lady put in my hair to make it greasy. I honestly looked like I let my 6 year old niece do it. After Regis it was curled and elegantly pulled back in 35 minutes. It may seem like a good deal on Groupon but it is not! Spend a little more and go ANYWHERE else!"
