Publix Super Market at Shoppes of Golden Acres

"Besides the ridiculously high prices, you can definitely feel a change in the vibe and in the culture too. Not in a good way. Management seems to have shifted to "profit" over "people". Employees and customers both appear different; it's written on their faces."

"Went to the bakery to pick up an ice cream cake the associate in the bakery was kind enough to write a name on it. Went through the express lane. The cashier greeted me, handled the cake with care. Great service and everyone loved the cake thought it was delicious"

"I am 4 months pregnant and passed out in their store and no one helped me... Yesterday I went in to get groceries with my sisters and THANK GOD they were there with me... I got lightheaded in the bakery section and sat on the display to avoid passing out. When I realized that wasn't helping, I sunk to the floor and begged my sister to help me to the car. I had my sister walk me to the automatic doors where the cart area is. I was losing consciousness as we were walking and my legs started to fail me right in front of the Customer Service desk. I then was laid on the floor right in the cart return area of the welcome doorway. I was receiving dirty looks and absolutely NO ONE on staff asked me if I was okay or if I needed help. This sweet older man coming in to shop (not even an employee) tried to get me in a wheel chair. I was sitting in the way and could not move on my own... Finally, a Publix employee at the front desk, that I was in complete view of the entire time and my sister had to get snippy with for anyone to care, came out to help me get into a wheelchair. After looking at the wheelchair and saying he could help, this man told me he could not help because I was "in the way"... So I scooted across the floor while almost losing consciousness so he could help me. He didn't offer to walk me out or anything, he just walked away after I got into the chair with the help of everyone but him... So I am just incredibly appalled by the lack of humanity and awareness of the staff at this location. If you are pregnant, never go here alone. They literally don't give a single **** about anyone that walks through the front door."

"I shop at this Publix everyday my cashier her name was Nicole she has lots of tattoos long black hair glasses I asked for cigarettes and I used smooth instead of Southern cut but I also directed her to the correct pack of cigarettes that I needed... She gave me the worst attitude in the world "That's not smooth that's southern cut". As if she could have just kindly directed me and said do you mean this instead of smooth know she continued to carry on her attitude and I told her to have a good day I will never go to that Publix again because of her I cannot believe that they let their customers experience the horrible customer experience that I experienced at that Publix."
