Winn-Dixie 1459 Northwest 23rd Avenue, Gainesville, FL 32605

"On 2/11/24, visited the store and a few packages of beef were very brown/ gray (disgusting!). I checked out with cashier, Kamryn. She piled food in the bags, giving no thought to improper mixing of items, i.e. window cleanser mixed in bag with small containers of cold milk and gum. I don't think it is EVER acceptable to mix chemicals and food when bagging. Additionally, she left the bags on the counter and NEVER attempted to place in my cart. She just stood there. I place as many bags as I could towards my end and went to move cart around to get the remaining bags, she quickly said "don't forget the rest, you wouldn't want to leave your eggs or anything!" While loading my cart, she began to get the next customer in line. After placing bags in the car, I noticed that Kamryn had not given me my receipt. I had to go back in. She saw my and pointed to the receipt on the counter. Never once apologizing. Why have her as a cashier when even I, as a senior citizen, could have performed the same functions at the self-checkout? Will I go back? NO..... I'll go to the Publix down the road, which is still on my way home. BAD Customer Service."

"It has a good packaged meat department. Check the weekend specials, often quite good. Mediocre seafood if you can hit the store early enough to have someone working. I think they close it at 630 pm? and no one else can do that guy's job. If you watch the ads, it is alright for the items on sale. While not quite as expensive at Publix, they are pretty proud of their prices."

"Their fresh vegetables are not very fresh. Most are over ripe. The lady working in the deli was excellent. Thank you!!! SELF CHECKOUT... no registers opened yet employees chit chatting. This store used to be 1 of the better Winn Dixies... won't shop here anymore if I can help it."
