"Poor Lion's Park. It took some damage back in Sept. 2020 during Hurricane Sally. While the ground conditions of the infield and outfield are still pretty good, the structures and fencing imare damaged and in some spots still blown down. The pylons holding lights and netting are dangerously loose in the ground. And just last night the outer chainlink fencing has fallen and is covering the Northside sidewalks. Let's hope it is returned to its former glory soon. It's a great place to play ballsports when it hasn't been battered by Mother Nature."
"Rent the park for $50.00? Includes lights and restrooms what a deal for a birthday party or at event allowed enough seating and covered area to suit any event. A Jewel of a park in East Hill. Baseball field with a large enough back field to play soccer or football scrimmages. Parking is limited around the field on the street"
"LOVE LIONS PARK! We play Kaboom Kickball there every Monday & Sunday night, and the facilities are always clean! I do love the part about the entire surroundings looking clean, free of trash and debrs! Thank you to ALL that help keep the Park looking NicE!"
