"So , I love finding a great bar that I feel safe , welcome , comfortable with good people , amazing staff , clean ….super FUN !!!! Like you can hula hoop , miniature connect 4 , chess , lost of games to play , it was an unexpected, completely enjoyable conversation with kind folks , local secret spot knowledge ,all around a beautiful place . You can see the live the wonders have put into this local bar, store , restaurant, OH and Dog friendly with bowls of cold water on a HIT summers day. I was not expecting to go in and sit down at a bar with my father (that’s our QT) as a woman , it’s hard to go somewhere & just feel safe , like your just there yo have a couple drinks like everyone else . Eeemhh Mmm … gentlemen… Just saying . Some lady’s aren’t always at a bar to “hook up “ Let the look up from the bottle or phone and not assume they are there to do any different than. you . Just saying this for my own past experiences . So this was a really awesome find !! I was just going to grab a 12 pack of white claws & go swimming up the road . But, I have been craving a Bloody Mary And bless this woman’s heart she makes a DARN great drink !! I stayed for two, going to order dinner on my way back , maybe head up to hula hoop , play pool, sit at a machine . Live bands also (I think Wednesday ) Karaoke (I’m not sure what night ) So many other events . Most importantly is the amazing staff, owner , very cool locals that were kind instead of mean . I wish I took pictures . I didn’t carry my phone in . I will next time . Later tonight !! Mrs , Texas works Tuesdays !! taco Tuesdays are starting next Tuesday . Sundays are bottomless Mimosas."

"An inquisitive stop after a little bit of hiking and among the road construction.... I order a beer and take a look around: nice and clean, free pool, quiet during the midday. So I ask if they can make a mojito and to my surprise they say "yes, of course"! But I'm mid-beer and still checking things out. I ask about a few different beers on tap that I've never heard of and they gave me a taste: nice. I decide to have the mojito and ask how much it is: he plays with the register for quite a while and then disappears in back but finally comes out and says he's sorry, but he can't make it. Hmmmm. Ok. So I ask if I can have a plastic cup and he tells me he can't do that for a beer. Hmmmm. So I ask if they have an outside patio to finish off my beer: yep... ...but it's a rundown carport, covered in pollen, all chairs and tables stacked and filthy, fence all dilapidated, grass not cut, etc. Not a fun stop."
