"VERY polite and helpful ladies. THANK YOU AGAIN FOR HELPING WITH MY NEW SEWING MACHINE."
"Store offers a great selection, very good service, easy access and convenient parking. Prices are what you'd expect for a speciality craft store."
"Great shop, wonderful selection of fabrics and patterns. You should see their sale bathtub too."
"A traditional quilt store. What’s nice is the house seems totally devoted to the store. Not a lot of fabric and mostly the same choices of design. There were many patterns though and threads. All different threads and floss. The owner was not very interested in us but she did recommend a pattern for me to try. I was looking for Kaffe Fasset fabric and that was a flat no. Like I said, very vanilla plain."
"The first time that I walked into Crafty Quilters, I knew nothing about quilts, fabrics, finishing old quilts, or much about quilting. I had just happened to buy an oldlooking twin sized quilt top for $5.00 at a yard sale. In my ignorance, I thought that I would buy enough fabric to add several "borders" around it to make it larger. I had fun selecting some modern blues, reds, whites and yellows and piling them in the cutting area along with my quilt top. Deedee walked into the room and after one glance asked me "Why are you going to ruin that quilt?". I said "talk to me, I don't anything about this". Her reply" I'd love to sell you this $80.00 to $100.00 worth of material you have picked out, but a quilt from this era should be finished with muslin. $20.00 later, I walked out of her shop with the correct fabric for my needs and deep respect for the integrity of a person who would turn down a bigger profit out of dedication to guiding a total stranger in the right thing for the craft. You can bet we aren't total strangers now! I won't buy or take lessons anywhere else."
