"A rude black lady harassed me today during my prayer and meditation and indicated to me that the park, the equipment, and water fountains are closed to the public until "day camp" is over, even though there was only 1 child w/both her parents there using the park equipment. She threatened to have me physically removed by the police and refused to give me her name which makes me think she has a problem w/me or her job. I filed a complaint and spoke w/Mr. Barcia who apologized and said that he will take corrective measures because his disgruntled employee was definitely out of line."
"Staff is really nice. My son is in the learn to swim program, he loves it and is adapting well. Pool area is always clean."
"Nice community park. Clean. Tennis courts. Fitness zone. Sand lot for kids. Open Grass field. Underutilized by the community due to past issues with violence in shootings but the neighborhood is seeing a positive transformation."
"I workout here once a week. They really need to add a tent over the fitness center. That way I wont mind coming here with the sun shining or the rain pouring."
"The park is nice, the black lady the runs it is very unprofessional. Therefore "most" of the staff is too. She just sits and sits. She allows the person with the blower to blow the dust around at 10:00 in the morning qhwm kids and adults are enjoying the park. When I asked her about it she just said "oh well he have to do it when he get here", poor service with black people!!!!"
