"Note: I chose Bruce Tucker and his company based on their positive Google and Houzz reviews. In short: I hired Bruce / Tucker Design Build for uplighting in my backyard. A few of the lights, primarily one in a fountain has been out for 7 (seven) months. After patiently asking for him to please assist in replacing them (as they are under warranty) I've had to hire and pay my own electrician to look over his work. Bruce assured me he'd make it out several times and never did, then finally showed up, only to send me back to the end of the list of people he needs to repair projects on. What I realized throughout this entire experience is this: The degree to which you will be serviced is based on two primary factors. The first being the size of your project, and the second being the possibility for future business. There is an additional variable, which is the length of time since your work was 'completed' that can also affect the outcome. For the sake of simplicity we'll identify the first two which are a bit more relevant. Please refer to the associated graph below. As you can see, your odds of service are best when you arrive at the 6 figure mark, WITH the possibility of future business. Otherwise, you will more than likely join the list of "50 people calling (me)" (in Bruces own words), upset that your hard earned money is now at the bottom of your landscapers concerns.
