"Went to free skate or public skate rather on Saturday. Arrived around 5:30, so only had about an hour left to skate. They didn't charge me full price which was cool. I enjoyed myself as did my 5 year old daughter. Wish they were open for more hours for public skate but I understand it's not that type of venue. More geared towards hockey and figure skating I suppose. Parking wasn't an issue at all. They have a snack bar but I didn't get a chance to check it out. Only thing was they just had 2 single bathrooms. I guess when they're only open for a couple of hours a week for public skate they don't really need full bathrooms with multiple stalls. I appreciated that they have the "scooters" for beginner skaters. I don't recall ever seeing those at the rinks I jsed to go to growing up. I was nervous for my 5 year old skating until I saw that they have them for an additional 5 dollars I believe. All in all I was very satisfied and definitely will be back as it is the only rink relatively close to where we live in the northern part of the county."
"This is my first time ice skating in Florida, and it's quite a unique experience. While it's a sweltering 80 degrees outside, the ice rink's chilly 60-degree temperature makes it a cool and refreshing activity in the Sunshine State."
"The perfect place to escape during sweltering Florida summers. At just $18 per skater (with skates included), Ice Works is absolutely worth the cost. The rink is Olympic-sized, so there's always plenty of room. They're extremely accommodating, providing ice scooters if necessary. Finally, something you should note is that the public skating sessions are generally only two hours a week (usually 1-3 on Sundays). This narrow window can be inconvenient, although it's absolutely worth working around! Overall, Ice Works is a LOT of fun!"
