Marriott Tampa Westshore

"The staff at the hotel are very friendly and helpful! The location is great as its minutes from the airport. However, the rooms are rather dated and in need of a refresh (still have popcorn ceilings). The bathroom lighting is poor and amenities are cheap (toilet paper and tissues are lowest quality). I’m a platinum elite member and visited the concierge lounge twice to only find bottled water and a cup of m&ms / pretzels / & peanuts. Having the lounge properly stashed with the right snacks and a variety of beverages is an easy fix. My room was also near the elevator which was noisy throughout the night and early in the morning. I’m also not sure why I didn’t receive a room upgrade? Unfortunately, I won’t consider booking here for my future work trips."

"We had a nice room. Everyone who works there seems to love their jobs. Angelica in the dining room is fabulous and Jonas made sure that we had everything we needed. In addition an outstanding group of veterans of the 101st airborne had their meeting there which added to the very pleasant atmosphere"

"Great staff and service, very clean and everyone is friendly. I asked for more coffee and sugar at the front desk, they were able to provide me coffee and dispatched housekeeping to bring up sugar. They brought up 3 more coffee pouches, tons of sugar, sweetener, stirrers, creamers, cups and napkins. All with a great attitude and smile. I wish I could remember the gentleman's name so I could give him kudos!"

"Great location. Great service. Our room was a bit dustier than expected. The lighting isn't that great. My husband and son enjoyed the heated pool. There is a high school nearby. I heard the marching band practicing on our first morning. It didn't wake me up, but it was noticeable."

"Had a generally good stay at the hotel. The standout was the excellent shuttle service, conveniently taking you anywhere within a mile. The restaurant had its highs and lows – acceptable breakfast, fantastic shrimp, but the quinoa salad was a miss (resolved with a bill adjustment). The room was great, though room service could improve on cleanliness – noticed dust and leftover residue under the water glass. Informed the supervisor, who addressed it with a discount upon checkout. Additionally, the hotel offers a gym and swimming pool, providing extra amenities for guests looking to stay active or unwind. These facilities complement the overall experience, adding value to the stay."
