"I will not ever return to this salon. They don’t take the time to soak off polish and drilled my nails until they were paper thin. Hard to communicate since many of the techs speak very little English. The picture I posted clearly shows my nails which they ruined."
"I honestly would never come back to this place even if it were the only nail salon available. When I arrived, the ladies upfront offered me water. The younger Caucasian staff seemed to have been running the logistics and was asking about the services requested. However, the other lady that stood above her, yelled over her and spoke over her to the point where I had to reiterate my request for services and it was noticeably uncomfortable for the Caucasian staff. The customer service is lacking and it felt as though it was an express line. I went there on a self-care day to get a pedicure and a full set. I knew I wanted a specific color with French tips. However, I wanted a simple design. The nail tech who originally began my nails was very nice. However, she spoke very little English. Which was not a big issue for me as I knew someone in the shop should be able to translate. She asked me if I wanted square nails and I told her I wanted them skinny/narrow square. Not wide nails. She ended up shaping them kind of coffin. While I did not want that, I made no big issue. Once she drilled the shape and laid the acrylic, I told her it was burning. I don’t believe she understood me because she did nothing. Instead, I took it like a champ and carried on while it burned because the sensation should eventually go away. Once she did the French tips, it was so uneven. The polish was not dried properly so there was a lot of smudging. I pointed out that it was uneven and she did one nail and fixed the uneven nature of that one nail. But the rest were smudged and uneven as the main manager of the shop kept things in a speedy nature. My nails were rushed and poorly done. While she did one hand, my other was to be at the gel machine. I was unable to do so because they did not understand the design I wanted and wanted me to look something up. So as I was supposed to be in the gel machine, I was rushed to find a design and while I was looking it was not fast enough. So the manager had me move on to my pedicure. While I finally had a moment to relax, someone else in the shop came over and was doing the design as I was getting my toes done. I asked her about the smudging and she stated that the clear coat would fix it. I did not want to be labeled as complicated or disruptive so I endured their services and complied until things were finished. I paid and tipped. I made a mental note to never go back to that salon again. My pedicure resulted in a sore toenail that had green pus a few days later. This establishment is completely missing the reasons why businesses like nail salons exist and it would help a lot if they got back to the basics. I didn’t walk into the shop asking for prices or concern myself about stress. I walked in, wanting a self-care day and to treat myself. I was willing to pay for the best service possible. The experience at this salon was one of the worst I have ever encountered. Customer service is trash."
"Had pedicure done while sitting in an older, torn and stained chair. Place is outdated and unkempt overall. The whole place has a ‘conveyor belt’ like experience and rushed. The only reason people go there is because is it located next to Lakewood Ranch is still a nice area, but business like this one make it look worse. Never again! Do yourself a favor and visit Flora Nail Spa instead on Heritage Green Way, Bradenton."
"I called after having a horrible experience at another salon and they were able to squeeze me in right away and Rachel, my hero fixed my nails and made them exactly how I wanted them for my wedding that’s in a few days! Rachel is the best."
"I tried many times. But I don’t think I can ever return. My nails peeled in one day and they’re acrylic. I went back for repair. Two days later I went to a different salon and had them redone ans they lasted weeks not minutes. My hairdresser from there retired. She was great. I tried someone else at Diva and now one side of my hair is longer in the font and the back. Now I will pay someone else to fix my hair too. Only go here if you have money to pay and time to waste to have procedures done two or three times until they are done correctly."
