"I usually hate visiting hair salons as I have always felt that hair stylists do not follow exactly what I want done even if I show them a picture. This time I was desperate for a hair cut and needed to retouch asap so I came across aesthetic innovations and decided to give them a chance since they are close to my house. Jose and David were so sweet, and understanding to what I wanted. I just love that they ask you exactly what your preference is for everything versus doing whatever they want as I have experienced before with other hair stylists! I definitely recommend this hair salon and I am glad I found a staple close to home!"

"A little background here, I’m originally from India and moved to the USA in 2020. When I was in my home country, I would only always go to one of my two dedicated hairstylists as they’re the only ones who understood what my hair needs and gave me the exact look I’d ask for. Every single time. Since moving to Miami 3 and a half years ago, I have been hesitant to visit a hairstylist as I read too many horror stories in the reviews. I eventually got a haircut in November 2021 for philanthropic reasons but the look wasn’t particularly what I wanted although I tried my best to explain to the stylist and even showed him a picture of what I wanted (I wanted an inverted bob but he ended up giving me a regular bob). I chose not to fuss over it and patiently waited for my hair to grow out for a year and a half. In the meantime, we moved to Orlando in early 2022, and this year I decided to start looking into hair salons as the summer has been brutal and having a head full of thick, long hair certainly doesn’t feel particularly comfortable. I wanted to get medium length, butterfly layered hair the way I mostly used to style it back in India. I am so glad to have found Aesthetic Innovation and Jose! He gave me a beautiful butterfly layered haircut just the way I wanted! He even advised me against getting an undercut as it would eventually end up looking bad once the undercut grows out and it made perfect sense. Jose is patient, kind and gentle and truly skilled at his art. I was really nervous prior to the appointment as I wasn’t sure if the stylist would understand what I really wanted and end up giving me something else like the previous person in Miami. But Jose gave me exactly the look I wanted. The only thing I wish was different is that I’d grown my hair a little longer so as to get more layers like I used to. But that’s on me.
