Big Lots

"Typical Big Lots items in an old, small store. It's not the cleanest, but does have good merchandise and quality furniture."

"I haven’t been in a Big Lots for a couple YEARS other than the time I applied. Today I went with my husband to go see what it was like and we were enjoying ourselves till I saw the same person who I spoke to in regards to my application following US literally EVERYWHERE around the store. He even followed my Husband into the restroom. I had on a large jacket but thats because it’s literally 30-40 DEGREES in JANUARY. I dunno if thats why but still, the guy had no shame. All I had in my hand was a little plushie toy for kids that I did indeed purchase. That man gave me really weird vibes. I felt like we were getting profiled."

"Very dirty store. Floors haven't been mopped in years. Cashier was not helpful when I asked her a question. I felt like I was bothering her. I haven't been to this Big Lots before and I can assure you I will not return."

"When there’s 13+ people at the upfront checkout line with one cashier management needs to address this or send somebody up front promptly to help the waiting customers get checked out and be on their way especially on a Saturday afternoon (busy traffic time) with every customer having full carts full of items. This is the third time this has been a concern in this store and noticed these problem!s. It’s very easy to fix if management is not MIA! The district manager for Big Lots needs to address this to management to keep an eye on the front, especially at the busiest times! Also, store is always very hot, little to no AC! It has nothing to do with keeping the prices low, The Family Dollar on Sunbeam Rd. is always ice cold, and has plenty of cashiers upfront, including the manager giving great customer service! Note: Big lots corporate since this is the third time these matter has been an issue as the “Review Critic” there will be another attempt in the next 90 days to come back in. Hope things are fixed, and be glad to change the star rating to the highest standards only if these matter are taken seriously and addressed. Regards"
