"I was in the mall for other things and kind of on a whim decided to look up hair salons since I really needed a cut anyways. Found this place through google and honestly really wish I hadn't. I was a walk-in and the place was pretty empty except for maybe one to two other people. I was getting just a haircut, no blow dry service or anything. I don't remember the stylist I had, but I told him I wanted just below the shoulder and some layering and also mentioned I had curly hair. He was very nice the entire time and made great conversation even though I'm not really a talkative person. When it came to the cut he showed me the length and it was a little shorter than I initially said but figured it would be ok, it'll grow. So the length of the hair is on me... what's not on me though is the fact that one side of my head is about an inch or two shorter than the other side. He didn't seem to check the lengths as he was cutting...and when he cut the length off I saw it wasn't even but figured it would be fixed as he shaped up the cut but I was proven wrong. He even took before and after pictures of my hair and I guess still didn't notice or didn't say anything? The rest of the staff didn't mention anything either as I paid and walked out the door. I didn't notice just how bad it was until I was home. Now I just wait for it to grow back and get it fixed somewhere else, because now I know where NOT to go."

The process was smooth and relatively quick (didn’t take nearly as long as I imagined). The results were exactly what I had asked for and she gave me thorough instructions on how to care for my new style and keep the curls looking just as I wanted them! The salon itself was immaculate and relaxing. The price was very affordable. I would highly recommend Kay to anyone looking to get a perm or any other stay for that matter as she is very thoughtful and listens to what you want done!"

I had the pleasure of having my hair done by Berkeley, she was absolutely the sweetest. I have never had my hair done so well in all my years of having my hair dyed. "I have been a client of Ryan Weber long before he worked at Belk. He is one of the best stylists in this region. Not only the best Stylist but one of the best people I know. So Ryan gets 5 Stars. But the Salon and people working there are a different story. I never feel comfortable around the other stylist there . Their professionalism has a lot to be desired. And I would never live my house dressed in the sleazy outfits they work in. I want to walk in to a salon and feel Welcome and comfortable having a conversation with my stylist as well as anyone else working there. Not the feel I get when I walk in. All the “ girls stylist “ seem like robots when talking to the public. I would recommend a very intense Customer Service class for your “female staff”. SO THE SALON GETS A 1 STAR."
