At Home

"While shopping in the retail store at Home located in Lutz, FL, I came across several items I was interested in purchasing for my home; however, I had a question about a particular item. I approached a store worker who was on the same isle at the moment. I approached the worker by saying excuse me. The worker replied yeah what’s up? It caught me off guard because who answers a customer like that. I carried on and said excuse me. The worker proceeds to say I said yeah what’s up? I said you don’t answer customer like that. He proceeds to say well I always do no matter who they are and what age they are. I said well never mind. And I walked away. I went back to get his name which his name is Will and then I asked Will is his manager is available. Will said he is the manager. I said oh really. Then I asked who’s over him he said he doesn’t know the person’s name. And I said okay thank you and I also told Will, I’m not trying or wanting to argue with you, but I have worked in retail before and this not how you respond nor interact with a customer. I also, told Will thank you and have a nice day. Will, yelled out I don’t know why you just won’t ask the question. I proceed to walk away and went to the from and requested to speak with the store manager. The store manager came to the front saying hi are you looking for me..no introduction or anything stating who he is. I spoke with the store manager (Dometrius), he expressed some empathy, but not sincere. He did not ask how he can assist me or anything. He just said he will talk to Will and that’s unacceptable. It gave me the impression that they were indifferent to customer feedback, and it left me feeling unheard and frustrated! at Home needs to reevaluate who’s their employees further more who they have in leadership roles!"

"The store has a great location next to the outlet mall. Never been in one before so I didn't know what to expect. The store was a good size and it was clean and organized. As far as going there to find something in particular you are out of luck. There is a mix of everything. Not much of one thing. The prices where high for this type of store. It seemed like they get leftovers from other store or overstock. The few things I was looking for they didnt have. Overall I wasn't impressed with this store. I will not be going back. Save your time unless you like garage sales."

"I bought a mirror at this store. I paid with their store card and using rewards from their website ($45 in rewards). Brought it home, removed a few tapes it had on the back and there was damage to it. I took it back to the store and I was getting money back to the card but half of what I paid for the mirror. The cashier told me it was because I used my rewards and that brought down the amount. I asked for a manager and he came, I asked him, if I want a full refund, what would happen to my $45 rewards? He was apologetic and told me that those are lost and there was nothing he could have done. Told me to speak to At-Home from the site, and of course a representative from the website is telling me to speak with synchroni bank. No one wants to be responsible for me having to lose my rewards when I asked for a refund. Check the items before you pay, they have a bunch of damages all around. They just throw things over other things at that store."

"First time here and wow wow the selection of holiday decor is Insane! We loved walking through the isles and seeing the trees and inflatables! Price was hit and miss. Service was good. Deff will be back for more !"

"Stuff listed online not here at the store. 1 register open and she was complaining she had to find the code for something that didn't have a price. Half the store has no prices and they cover up cheaper prices with more expensive stickers"
