Child Development Center 3, located at 8718 Hangar Loop Drive in Tampa, Florida, is part of the Department of the Air Force Child & Youth Programs. Kinderspot, a short-term childcare service, is now available at the CDCs to support military and DoD civilian families with their child care needs during temporary duty assignments, relocation, or reserve duty. The CDC currently has immediate vacancies for children aged 2 to 5 for full-time care. Parents can express interest and create an account at MilitaryChildCare.com. The center offers 24/7 or extended child care options. Enrollment at the CDC includes completing a Parent Orientation, enrollment paperwork, and providing up-to-date immunization records. Families are asked to sign up at each of the 3 CDC centers. The program is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children and offers quality early childhood programming focusing on social, emotional, cognitive, and motor skills development. Family-style dining with USDA-approved menus is provided. The centers are DoD-certified and uphold the highest level of care standards.
