"Excellent school. Our 4 year old has loved Pre-K and the staff and teachers are wonderful."
"If you have experience with Primrose this is not like your typical Primrose. It is under new ownership as of OCT2023-ish. We had our 2 kids here for just over a year. My daughter has severe food allergies, peanut being one of them. The staff did NOT pay attention to the food they allowed brought into the school and it was not always nut free, which is NOT the Primrose policy. Primroses are supposed to be nut free facilities. The owner was very receptive to talk to about issues we had but IMO the management staff is under qualified and does not fit your typical top notch Primrose standards, but you pay normal Primrose prices. We've moved our children to a new Primrose and absolutely love that they are what a Primrose should be and what you expect. We also had our daughter at the ST Primrose, which is also amazing. The teachers at this Primrose are very nice and loving and it's more of a laid back, close family feel then a structured, put together establishment to teach your children. Which isn't a bad thing but typically Primrose staff are on the ball in every aspect of taking care of your child. This Primrose has a lot of growing to do to meet the typical Primrose standard and the front office staff needs training on what the Primrose policies are and how to follow them. If you are looking for a regular daycare, this one is nice. If you are looking for the typical top notch Primrose standard (and if you've attend others you know what that is) then this one IMO does not meet that standard."
"My children were kicked out after 2.5 days of attendance due to being on the autism spectrum. The first day they were sent home after lunch because they didn’t take a nap that day and were making noises. The center made it very clear that they were an inconvenience and burden. No child can adapt to a new school in 2 days and my children were never given a chance. They thrived in their previous daycare (Virginia) and are doing very well in our new daycare. They clearly do not respect or adhere to the Americans with Disabilities Act Title III where it clearly states they can not exclude children in their program and need to make reasonable modifications unless they pose a direct threat. My children were never a threat and every time we picked them up they were quietly sitting at a table playing with puzzles while the rest of the children were in chaos. It was clear we were not the perfect poster children the Director wanted on her roster and are happy we found a new place that is wonderful with all children."
"Good mixture of academics and fun activities.. my kid is having fun at VPK."
