Reviews of 108 Vine
"I stop here at LEAST once everyday. I cannot get coffee anywhere else it just doesn't taste the same. Pretty sure they even make the syrups from scratch too. The staff is beyond accommodating and some of the nicest and most friendly people you will meet who are eager to answer any questions or help anyway they can. It’s a whole experience and you can’t just not go check it out. You will not be disappointed"
"I only found out about 108 Vine a couple months ago, but it's quickly become my favorite coffee shop in town! Their espresso is AMAZING... any time I get a coffee from somewhere else, I think of them. The gift selection is astounding and so unique! Love seeing all these local sellers getting represented. The staff is so kind and helpful! They really make a good experience into a great one. And I have to mention it again because, god, I love it.... the coffee is FANTASTIC! My go-to for the season has been an iced oatmilk gingerbread latte with white mocha cold foam, per an employee's recommendation! P.S. follow them on insta because they also host fun events! @108vine"
"I would like to preface this review with saying that I love 108 Vine and Plantstay, and have for years — while they were just a pop up shop to now. However, I recently had a disappointing experience there, and have been thinking about it enough to leave a review. I bought two mugs with tops for tea steeping for my parents for Christmas. They loved them and immediately wanted to use them to make tea. While my mother’s mug was perfect, my father’s mug immediately lost its handle, spilling tea everywhere. The mug itself didn’t crack — it was as if the handle had come clean off. I took the mug back to 108 Vine when I was back in town, and showed the cashier how it had broken, and explained that I just wanted to exchange it for a mug that wasn’t defective. They told me that returns and exchanges were on a case-by-case basis, and needed to be approved by the owner. They were all lovely, and took my information and said they would get back to me. When I got a call the next day, I was told that the owner had said no, and wouldn’t give me a refund or an exchange, but could offer me a new mug at 50% off. I was disappointed to hear that 108 Vine was not willing to stand behind their products and issue a new one (or even a refund) when something broke on the first use. It’d be completely different if this were due to user error, but this was clearly a defective product. Not having a consistent return/exchange policy is one thing — and I understand that as a local small business that may be tricky — but telling me my only option was to purchase an additional mug seems counterintuitive. Why would I pay twice (or one and a half times) for a mug that might break the same way? As I’ve said, I’ve loved Plantstay and 108 Vine for years, and frankly have spent a lot of money there. I’m disappointed in their customer service policies, and will reconsider going there to buy products over other places."
"This is a 5 star coffee date place! My friend and I regularly hunt out new coffee shops to explore and this is likely our new ‘time to chill’ spot! The coffee was excellent, as was our bagel, but the variety of gifts and cool things to look at was an adventure all its own! I suspect it is NOT a ‘quick stop to pick up a latte if you’ve got somewhere to be’ kind of spot - the time to service (order, delivery) is the only reason it’s rated lower in those categories."
