"Best prices, great things. Always leave with something when i stop by."
"Be careful with this place. Went in last week with the family and the wife seen some items she had wanted. Went back in today to get them, and apparently the employees didn't like the price so they went to the manager and the price went from $59 to $99. Who in there right mind is so greedy that there going to change the price by that much in the middle of a sale. So of course we did not purchase the item. Had no issues with the other locations."
"A lady who was a bit older & maybe Mexican was rude rushing me to checkout 15 minutes before they closed. I understand everyone is ready to go home & what not but that’s literally your job. THEN she took my items and put them to the side & wouldn’t let me buy them because she said “they were priced wrong” which was a coach purse & a party pack of sunglasses. I believe the purse was $14 which seemed about enough for the condition of it & dollar store glasses were $3 for I think about 10. Poshmark sells coach purses & luxury items for way cheaper! I also think that the workers get first pick on things because she mentioned she had bought some of the sunglasses too so that’s how she knew the price wasn’t right?! Maybe she had to pay more? Maybe she wanted to keep them for herself?! I don’t know but I spend at least $100 every trip sometimes 3X that as well as many donations. The staff knows me because I live right down the road. Thankfully I went back the next morning & the guy working the register at that time was extremely nice & gave me my half off green tag discounts on the items that I later realized after I got home that she didn’t give me. The skinny guy who wears a hat is always helpful when I’m shopping. I bought a couch once for $5 & I had 3 days to pick it up (had to find a truck), I went to pick it up & it wasn’t there. Apparently they sold it & from under me & moved it to the back cause the same lady didn’t ring up my couch ticket. So I had to call the manager & he was extremely polite & refunded me & let me take the couch. Anyways not to mention all the people who donate stuff after hours & people on bikes (some who I’ve ran into while dropping my stuff off, few homeless most in nice cars probably resellers taking everything good) rummage through it immediately. Probably why items are priced so high on some things. There was a cop who sat down the road with his lights on for the past month I guess to help that situation. At the end of the day if people need something it should be a given since it was already a donation. Some items are beyond a reasonable “thrift price range.” About 2 months ago I heard an old man who looked fancy complain about the price of a table ask a blonde haired lady if she could reduce the price. She said I can’t on the store floor but let me ask & she was able to. I bet if I had known that they allow that & I tried it she/they would say no especially since they know I spend a good bit of money atleast once a week. Overall a good store but it definitely depends on the staff. Some are very helpful & know their mission & enjoy what they do & others are in it for the “steals & deals “ literally. Just an update. Moved from 1 Star to a 3 cause you never know what you’re going to get."
"This store has some problems. One of them is that the workers will vacuum right by you while you are trying to shop. They do not seem to care that it is loud and distracting. The music they play is dreadful and often they will turn it up too loudly. Their prices can be good sometimes, and other times they'll price things too high. Now they have a new rule: all sales are final. That means the customer might have to take a risk when purchasing certain items like DVD players or other electronics. Please turn the music down. People are trying to shop and sometimes need to raise their voice to be heard because the music is too loud. And please, tell your employees to stop vacuuming right by customers! That's so rude."
"I've donated literally thousands of dollars in clothing. I have for 16 years to this store. I lost 8 sizes and donated my entire wardrobe recently. A good deal new with tags and all my shoes as i lost a half shoe size also. Yesterday my husband went to donate 2 more bags and came after 4 and was sent inside by the man by the gate. When he asked where they go (we typically drop off) the gentleman at the counter said " don't you see the bin?" . Is this how you speak to people who donate their things for free to you? Now he left the stuff but I would not have. And ill donate elsewhere."
