"Great playground with rubber grounds to prevent kids injuries. An amazing view of the river walk. Splash pad available during the day weather permitting. Basketball courts light up in the evening for safety. Bathrooms are open I think until 5pm. Sitting area to have snacks with the kids or birthday parties on the weekend."

"Lovely park!! Great playground clean & new looking. Love that there is an abundance of seating around the play area. They have solar charging stations all you need is your cord. I love the proximity to the lake and the walking/bike path along the shore. Our nephew loved the playground and riding his bike there."

"Unfortunately all the playgrounds were closed. Big splash pad with clean bathrooms next to them. Nice picnic tables available if they aren’t already rented out. Some picnic pavilions were lakefront. Shaded picnic benches along the splash pad to sit and watch over our kids. A big field to throw a frisbee."

"A beautiful walk in the park. It's environment makes you feel like you've been transported to another place. The wildlife is pleasant but maintains a safe distance. Local fishery is seen along the water edge. The kids' playground is centralized for ideal security. Sidewalks take to anywhere you want to go including to downtown Sanford area."

"This is one of my kids and my favorite playground. Pros: 1. Clean restrooms 2. Big playground with multiple play structures for all ages 3. Splash pad 4. Shaded pavilion and benches 5. Basketball court 6. Beautiful scenic view of the lake in the background 7. Walking/running trail around the park Cons: 1. It can get creepy in the evening here. 3. The slides and some areas of play structures get too hot in the summer due to lack of shade in the play area."
