"Great Place to Play Pickle Ball. Just opened 6 Pickle Ball Courts only. With lights for day or night time play. Restrooms have just been upgraded as well. Dink Dink Dink"
"This park is always well maintained and the playground is free of debris. The new pickleball courts look amazing! We enjoy going to the fair and festivals they have. However, the parking is extremely limited, especially for special events, but there is usually enough parking nearby."
"Best little park in the county with a band shell, tennis and pickleball courts, a playground, hopscotch, restrooms and library right next door. Plus tourism department is right there with tons of great resources and it's the jumping off point for the mini mermaid trail a 2-mike scavenger hunt for tiny mermaids hidden not exactly in plain sight."
"I love Hernando park. It is very accommodating for big events such as The Blueberry Festival which is an Incredible event! Lot's of hard work and planning goes into it. The vendor line up was superb. The music was great that was held at the park. The food was delicious. I was honored to be a part of it! If you get a chance to go to the park for a music experience I think you will greatly enjoy it! It is also very accommodating if you want to get out for the day with your children or pets. The surroundings are nice and it is just right off the downtown area."
"This is a star-shaped blue flower, with purple touch on its plates. Star-shape, blue-purple flowers decorate blue-eyed grass in spring and early summer. A wonderful plant for edging a walkway or the front of a cottage garden border, this compact perennial grows in a slowly spreading clump. Although “grass” is in its name, blue-eyed grass is actually in the iris family. Its sturdy leaves remain green and upright throughout the growing season."
