"Called and was told she won’t do ‘large dogs’. My dog is 60 lbs. I asked for a referral to someone else in town who does and she couldn’t refer anyone because “people leave bad groomers and come to me”. Wasn’t very helpful."

"We had taken our golden retriever to this groomer once, and the next time we called for an appointment they said she was "dangerous" and that they would not groom her again because they could not control her and it was just too hard. My 2 year old golden is an inside pet and is my companion as a housebound disabled vet. In her 2 years, we have kept her groomed constantly, and had Blooming Tales take care of her 9 different times without issues. When the owner retired, we had thought to give this shop a try, but apparently they are not a competent groomer that is capable of handling a house pet. There is still another groomer in town who has (successfully) groomed her once already without issues. The (new) owner of the above-mentioned grooming shop worked at the veterinarian next door and is great with all 4 of my pets. In addition, the former owner of Blooming Tales now has a mobile grooming van and just did a fantastic job! I will make sure to patronize her and advise all of my friends and neighbors to do the same."
