Hyde Hotel Hallandale Beach

"My husband and mother stayed here for a week while I was having surgery. The customer service SUCKS! Reasons I do NOT recommend this “resort” that feels far from a resort: 1) I sat on a lounge chair by the pool and a worker came over and told me I had to move because these particular chairs were reserved for “owners” of the condos. I guess I didn’t move quickly enough and he came back over and said “when will you be moving?” I said there was no sign indicating this and he said “oh it’s right there but it fell over” and he didn’t even pick it up. So I’m paying hefty fees to stay here and can’t even sit at any lounge chair? 2) Toiletries, garbage bags, etc all cost extra for restocking fees - RIDICULOUS, so we had to go buy our own. 3) The elevators take FORVER. Come on Hyde Resort- do better with the elevator speed and get more elevators to accommodate the amount of people staying here, especially for the amount being charged! 4) Tried getting a drink at the bar and the bartender was in her phone, had to say “hello” 3 times to get her attention and when I finally did, she was rude. 5) Ask to speak to a manager regarding the above issue regarding #1 and they denied that a manager was available to speak with. 6) At check out, we asked for a wheel chair because I had just had surgery and they said the one they had was in use. Again, COME ON….have multiple wheel chairs available at all times! I don’t even want the hotel/resort or whatever this place is so reply to this. You guys just need to do better all around. Spend your money elsewhere and don’t stay here!"

"Look at the state of the room we received for around $400 USD a night. Completely unacceptable. Not to mention the elevators situation is appalling. They have 4 elevators to of which were always being used by movers the four days we were here. Avoid staying here unless you like throwing away money. It was so bad we checked out early even though we had prepaid for more nights"
