Beachside Apartment Hotel

"I read the reviews after booking and was scared and tried to cancel. I was surprised to find that the apartment was very nice. I have a one bedroom. It is spacious and the bed and kitchen are in separate rooms. It is very clean and seems to be newly remodeled. The grounds are nice. It is safe and two blocks from the beach. The kitchen cabinets, closet system, bath and sink are new. Furniture is modern and updated. My only issue, although the water in sinks were hot, my shower was cold. Also the pool happy hour and beach towels are in another hotel."

"Absolutely disgusting. The apartment was dirty you could write in the dust on the blinds, our feet were filthy from walking on the floor. No cooking utensils or coffee/tea making machine, minimal furniture was told by receptionist we had to buy our own, not even a plug in the sinks. Absolutely no amenities on site only at the other hotel 2 blocks away, but that was just a plunge pool that was dirty Reception thought it funny that we had these problems and that our key cards didn’t work. Was told to keep them away from electronics and credit cards as it wipes them. Had to fight to get our deposit back, only got it back as we took photos when we departed."

"They made us pay a deposit of 300 dollars when we went there, they still haven't refunded it for 2 months and they still don't return the phone calls. And we realized that they had deducted the original amount we paid from my card twice before we left. BAD business"

"So, so dirty. Felt like the only thing they did before our arrival was making the bed. Black hair, sand and dust everywhere. When we complained and asked to send someone to clean they didn’t care and didn’t do anything. I had to buy my own cleaning supplies, clean and sanitise the apartment. We stayed there for 9 days and no one ever came to clean/change towels/refill shampoos or take the trash out. It felt like staying in a very bad Airbnb, not a hotel. They don’t take care of the room - multiple little things are broken, like hooks in the bathroom. The bedroom is too small for two beds so the bedroom door doesn’t close... lots of small things that sum up to make a bad overall experience. It’s also pretty noisy since it’s close to the roads."

"I never leave reviews but this was such an awful experience that I just had to share. Checked in the night of, i booked at the beachside hotel, we were told to check in at the seaside hotel which was 2 blocks away which was no problem since we were told beforehand. After checking in, we were assigned a room close to the reception desk at Seaside Hotel which was fine too since everything looked great. Even though it was not what I originally booked for, Beachside Hotel, I was happy with it since the layout and amenities in the room looked really nice. After going out for dinner nearby, we discovered that there were ants EVERYWHERE. I got bit by the red fire ants as well. I immediately went to the front desk to see if we can switch a room, we had booked for the week. By this time it was like 11pm at night, about 2 hours after the check in. The girl at the front desk told us that there were no other rooms and that I would have to email them in order to request a refund. It was clear that she did not have any authority and was only there to check people in, but they should at least have someone on call to answer questions. We then had to scramble to find a hotel in the middle of the night, pack all our things again, get another Uber. This ruined the beginning of my vacation. The next morning, I emailed them immediately stating the situation and never got any response. That is just irresponsible. In the end, I just ended up requesting a refund from my credit card company. In conclusion, take your money elsewhere and stay away from such an irresponsible company."
