"Hi, I recently had the pleasure of staying at this fantastic resort in Pompano Beach - SURF SIDE RESORT, and the experience was nothing short of extraordinary! "The man who greeted us was doing the lawn and was not friendly. A lady came in after he was checking us in and asked if we had been helped, so I am guessing it was the owners. They had us sign a paper that said no visitors on property. We found that offensive since the friend recommended this place not knowing this. It was awkward and they said no one on property but us. We won't go back. The room was really old but the shower was updated and we did not use it. Costly, with no view of ocent, but it was close to downtown Pompano Beach."

"Great updated motel close to the main strip and right near the beach. Rooms have been updated and pool is fantastic. You can walk to the restaurants and shops. Owners take great pride in there motel."

"In response to the owners comments. My 73 year old husband was asleep in the sun when their worker was blowing dirt and dust on him. He waved him to stop as he was sick with asthma and on 4 medicines but worker would not stop blowing dirt on him. He finally yelled at him... The man wears ear muffs and a mask. The blower is ancient and loud... The lady came over and said he would do what she tells him to do as she is the owner!!! Unbelievable!! No respect for guests. Should of left that day but cut our 2 week vacation to 1 week there! Hard beds. Towels and linens old... Not a comfortable place. She turns away African Americans left and right... Who is the raciest here? Lol"

"Extremely clean room and comfortable bed. With a 30 second walk to the beach, we couldn’t ask for a better place to stay! Nice staff, very welcoming. Pool very clean. Highly recommend"
